Working with interesting saw mill and other lumber based automation and technology.

Lots of travel to support equipment installation.

Workplace culture is strained, probably due to fast expansion while I was there.  Management of people and projects left a lot to be desired.  Mostly people with no previous management experience put into faced paced projects and management positions.

Salary and compensation is lower than the average for similar jobs in other sectors.

Great place to work with a comfortable work atmosphere. Lots of collaborating due to large number of common roles. 
Deadlines can become tight, but easy to ask co-workers for help to achieve these.
Mostly desk work in a sea of cubicles. Not great if desiring shop oriented/ focused work.

Show up at the office 8-430 hours. Answer phones all day from customers wondering why the software doesn't work. Dial into their computers remotely and troubleshoot. Share pager duty where customers from all around the world can call you at all hours of the day. 

Golf tournament is fun. Sometimes company hosted bbqs. 



Product Development opportunities, opportunity to travel to see equipment installed and commissioned. 
Excellent company events.
Workplace culture is excellent, fun people.
Very talented and creative.

USNR was an immense and valuable work experience that I think anyone in the Electronics Industry should experience. The management was great and the employees were mostly easy to get along with and work with. Productive and fun workplace with fun employees!

Nice place to work. Good work/life balance. Can learn a lot in the field. However not much growth and advancement opportunities. Management not closely involved with employees.

Good and challenge work. Great professionals to work with. Time to spend on the road can be too much at times but over a love working for this company.
