Line production is slow paced and boring. Washcoat is faster paced but steady. Both, though can be overwhelming at some points due to being understaffed. Money is great, but advancements can be hard due to having to learn every position in production. Average 18 months to 2 years to get full rate. Safety is taken to a whole another level here. The rotating shifts can be brutal. 
The future of the company is unknown, with electric cars coming in fast.

Fun lighthearted work environment. Good people doing honest work, good teamwork and collaboration between all employees and mgmt. Can be kind of boring at times depending on your job, but overall i really look back  very fondly working at Umicore precious metals canada. Only reason i left was for a higher paying job closer to home.

There was very limited training and support, while expectations were extremely high. The workload was far more than what one person could reasonably handle, and it made maintaining any kind of work-life balance impossible. The overall pressure was consistently overwhelming.

Everyone is a pleasure to work with. Just be ready to be working in an office/ware house environment regardless of your position. Thats about all I have to say it’s not amazing but really you can’t complain.

It is good start but No trainning available for safety.

Lunch rooms were too small. No enough staff parking. Not enough training available for for new machinery 


good working environment and supporting management and co-workers. training if sufficient to learn the job for newcomers. chances for advancement. recommended for all.

I had fun working for this company as R&D Technologist, good times indeed ! too bad downsizing occurred, but if given the opportunity, I will come back again

Great job learned a lot from this company would recommend this company to anyone who wants opportunity to learn and become a operator                 

lack of training provided on the lines. you have to figure it out how to run the line, the other team.members also don't step uo to offer help when struggling.
