Start off the day receiving stock and putting it to orders as well as unloading trucks that had come in and helping customers who had arrived to pick up there orders, Management was alright but the branch i was at was going through alot of staff changes and i didnt feel i had job security so i left also i had 5 managers in one years time and never really new who my boss was. The hardest part of my job was the lack of staff, and overworking the staff we did have. The most enjoyable part was the pay.

Some Points to Touch on:
-informative morning meetings with setting some direction
-learned how important team work and having support is
-management was very supportive and took action when addressing concerns
-team work on all levels was very important 
-time off for appointments (40hrs for appointments) only company I’ve dealt with that had this available 
-safe working environment with great safe work practices 
-salary based verse hourly 

When i was working got into a bad accident that put me in the hospital for about a month, the owner came from Edmonton to Toronto, now i don't think he came to see me because he was only in for 3 days but he came to my hospital to let me know that the insurance had just started and that not to worry that i would be okay and covered.
Only got to work there for a little over 3 months but it was a great place to work for.

Been working here for a few weeks and there's no abusive behavior or excessive laziness that seems to be everywhere in this industry. I don't have much prior experience so I can't accurately convey the fairness of the salary for more experienced workers however there is a lot of room to move up in the company if that's what you wish to do.

As  past employee of Unified alloys I found it was a great place to work . with the pressure of the business ,i found every employee pitched in to work as a team to finish the daily goals .management was open to my concerns easy to talk to . I enjoyed my time there but needed a change !!   would recommend  to some if wanting  to work on the stainless steel shipping industry . 

Great team and management, I have learned lots of things from UA. I liked Unified Alloys: Great health benefits, a supportive team, a great learning centre, a competitive salary and they provided good equipment to work from home. I would recommend it to someone if you want to work on stainless steel wholesale. 
Also, I want to work in a permanent position in future. 

They are short staffed and because of that, the "head" person was stressed out and not respectful. I was called inappropriate things and my "manager" didn't seem to care. Just because you can't hire people, doesn't mean you treat others with disrespect. They swear at you, yell at you, overall, not a good place to work. 

A typical day at Unified Alloys included an informative morning meeting, setting a direction for the day followed by a variety of tasks on-going throughout the day making opportunity to grow easy

It was a fun place to work until they changed management. They don't pay enough and the benefits aren't very good. Management makes stuff up to make themselves look better
