Its a fairly typical serving job but you get to know the people you serve because they live there so some of them are awesome but its really the staff that made me quit. There are 2 lead servers, one is great but the other is useless, sucks up to upper management, and casts the blame on others. There is also incessant gossip and what not because the majority of the serving staff is Filipino there are some that will talk about you in Tagalog and will pick favorites among themselves. Now some staff are awesome and fun to work with but its the few bad ones that made me leave.

Come supervise the server and make sure all residents are happy with the food and service in an 8 hour day! 🍽️ #hospitality #foodservice

Short staffed because of staff calling sick.

Second home .. residents and staff treating each other with respect.

I had a wonderful time working with United Active Living. I have received immense support and guidance from the staff since the first day. Before becoming a United Active Living team member, I can confidently say that I had not experienced a work environment that hugely fostered a positive atmosphere and encouraged me consistently!

Working at Garrison Green Retirement Community, by United Active Living has been a truly rewarding experience. The staff and management are friendly and supportive, and they prioritize the well-being of both residents and employees. I’ve learned a lot from my colleagues and felt encouraged to grow professionally.

Working East and West building common are and happy to work. Learning for different kind of residents people. Wonderful management. I like the multi cultural staff. I will not encounter hardest job because i’m enjoying my job. All task i considered enjoyable.

Great experience, with the team. Residents are what keep me smiling on a day to day basis. I worked there short term because I wanted to get the experience in the field. Then after I left, I decided to go try other facilities and learn more.

Too much Politics. You should have more understanding managers that support staff. To LEARN AND RESPECT EACH others.
I enjoyed working with seniors. Especially when you know they trust you, the residents and their family.
