Productive University, Helpful staff, but very sensitive on the English language

It is a nice place to work or study at. Helpful staff, good professors.
Good team spirit and good career prospect.
Salary not very competitive and not really international

The work experience at UdeS is full of knowledge, all the time. There are allways students talking about projects and how they are learning new things withe their very experienced professors. The structure is also quite special, with labs and library.

Was able to learn new research techniques, along with given the opportunity to perform experiments more independently after a month of starting the project

The University of Sherbrooke provides their teacher assistants with all the resources necessary to help them help the students. The pay is what you would expect for this kind of job, but they are generous on the number of out-of-class-work hours.

The co-workers are really nice, the ambiance is good, this is a stress free envirnment.

The cons are the fact that there is no plans, or objectives. It is difficult to stay focused since there is no objectives.

Nothing positive about this university except for the salary but it was regarding the work force I had a suitable salary. Big mistake to work for this employer. You are treated like a s... and coworkers with many years, they just ignored you. esprit de cocon.

very high pace and a lot of work to do in very short time frames.
Managment isn't great and do not support students when it comes to problems within the labs

Nice place to work indendently. Very welcoming attitude. However good command on French language is plus point which benefits communication and helps to develop new relations. 

Good , very nice. People are so helpful. This is a place where you can learn a lot from professors and from students. French is main spoken language but you can work with Eng too.
