My time at the university was amazing. The team I worked with was great. The upper management was very helpful and easy to talk too even the director. My line manager was very supportive whilst I was there and even got hands on with the jobs also when he could. My team leaders where helpful and a good laugh. The team them selves had great knowledge of there trade and the sites. Always willing to lend a hand. The environment was always welcoming.

The university provide opportunity of part time work being a research student.Teaching the fundamentals of various experimental labs for Biosciences undergraduate and postgraduate students. Marking lab reports and coordinating with the module organizer.

Worked there in professional services for 12 years but you can rarely progress as a woman in a male dominated and arrogant management culture. In the faculty, working with academics or in specific departments helping students no doubt it would be a better experience.

This can be from a horrible to an amazing place to work. Really depends on the team. What is needed is more support to the employees. They need to know that if something is wrong, they can report it.

Great company to work for. Work life balance are respected and even encouraged. Salary and benefits are fair. Jobs seem secure. Challenges regarding advancement. Managment are kind and understanding but also push you to do your best

I worked a few times in a temporary capacity and found the work fulfilling and interesting, enabling me to use my vast administrative skills to the full.

I would not recommend working here at all.

Out dated and old rusty buildings 
Horrible spoilt students 
Near nothing in Guildford 

University of Surrey has given me the required skills to go forward in life and achieve the ambitious targets I have set for myself. In addition I have formed life long relationships here and can not speak highly enough of it

Very considerate employer with a good work, life balance but development & progression is not a key strategy. Some very good colleagues & people who genuinely take pride in their roles & care about our students.

It was nice and I really enjoy it. 
The seniors are kind and helpful, especially when it comes to something that I never done before. 
I previously do not have any work experience, so with their help... I studied a lot.
