This place is a very casual place to work, the CEO is very friendly to all the staff as he greets them every morning, gets into funny stories with staff and is overall a very positive person. My department is great, sometimes a little hectic but what business isn't. The company is working towards the future and is making the correct adjustments for success and growth in the future. 

I have developed great relationships with a lot of my fellow co-workers and look forward to coming into work every morning. I never feel like I am overworked at the end of the day, and if there are a lot of tasks assigned to me. The department I work in helps relieve some task so I don't get overburdened with work.

This is definitely a great company to work for, and I would recommend the company to anyone that is seeking a job with lots of development and learning appeal.

What is the best part of working at the company?
This place is a Clean and safe place to work. The company has a Good shift  some employees are nice

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The manaoof production kafil is not fair and he just help people of his country and people who give him presents 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
This place is Good, clean but just employee who are close to manager can work over there . He is unfair, and if his friends put complaints he never listen the other person. 
He asked me for his Christmas present when I was working there and next month I was outlining 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Relaxed but you never know when you’re out

Worked at Urtech for 4yrs. Company had a lay-off almost every 12mos. No communication between departments. Management will not answer simple questions. Most of those yrs, there was one HR/Payroll employee that was only in office once/wk, and only for a few hours. Never enough hand tools to do the job. A lot of extremely toxic & belligerent long-term employees there. Never did receive an employee review, even though they're supposed to be held once/yr. Health & safety is a joke, with HS committee receiving zero training, nor any experience. Definitely DO NOT recommend.

Urtech manufacturing is one of the good company to work, Really great environment specifically in production Area. Everybody has really friendly and co-operative behaviour. 
I have worked for 4 years in the company but i have never seen such honest and hardworking manger like current  production manager. He is doing such commendable job, very supportive and fair to everyone. I think his presence in this company is benefiting and contributing a lot from his side. He made the workplace full of fun with all the due respect to every employee without any favouritism.

Working with the team is what truly sets the experience at urtech apart. The manufacturing associates, engineers, and technicians are like a family. It is fun to work with people who put 110% into what they do and have fun while doing it. It's a real collaborative atmosphere where everyone's always learning and growing. Urtech cares about their employees and had turnover through covid but pulled through resilient, and I do feel appreciated for the work I have contributed. 

This employer will not reward hard work and dedication. Engineering seems to know very little to no knowledge of electronics/electronics manufacturing and how the process work. Engineering always blame the factory floor employees for their mistakes just to save themselves(example: NPI). Post secondary education wont matter, you will be working for nothing with no opportunity to grow. Alot of good people work on the floor and are treated poorly on a daily basis. Owners are narrow minded, arrogant and not worth working for.

I did a placement here for school, and it was a really good experience. I learned a lot about how a facility like this works in general, but also special skills like soldering and how to work the self-soldering machine. My co workers were so helpful and kind, and very understanding when I was still getting the hang of things. It was tedious work sometimes, but having good people around really helped the day go by. Also we got free lunches every once in a while. This is a great place to do a placement if you're planning on working in the manufacturing industry.

Easy work (assembling GPS boards) and the employees are really fun and helpful. If you need to ask a question the management will always help you out, really nice people. The day is long but like I said it's not difficult and there's always something to do. I recommend this job if it's your first time in a manufacturing facility and you could advance from the factory floor to SMT if you wanted. Great for co-op!

Don't work there they don't care about people they just care about how fast you can work. Management and HR is a joke. I followed all the rules and never complained until they ruined a great job opportunity for no reason except spite. Please don't work there even if you are desperate it's not worth it!! The only good thing about the place are the other workers in production they are incredibly friendly and lovely people that deserve better!!!
