Don't walk away from this job, RUN!  This is for the New Welland location.  They don't pay as advertised. servers make $9.80 I have 7 plus years as a server. The tips suck and you have to tip share. I made more at my last job in one night than I did in an entire week here. The management is seriously inept. They can't even make a schedule out so you never know when you are going to work or have off or have a life. Every time I questioned this I got told. Well we are new. Really you can only use that excuse for so long and then it's just bad management. I was expected to train others when I only had been there for less than a week. Of course they didn't pay me any better either. When I said I was not comfortable with that they decreased my hours down to none. In short if you have balls and stand up for your rights they don't like you. They want people who fall for their bullying tactics and will work without breaks. Oh yes breaks, there are none and when I asked about it after working a 7 hour shift without one, I got told by the manager that because they are a restaurant they are  exempt from giving you a break. What rubbish. I told the employment center I was working with about it and they were horrified! But when the manager knows everything about Ontario Labor Laws that's what happens.  Good luck!

The management ( family owned) operates dysfunctionally , like most family owned businesses do.  As a server you are expected to do EVERYTHING no matter how busy it is, and you never know when it will or won't be busy. Seat customers, act as a bartender, give 5 star table service. no bussers . And cleaning duties at the end of the night. They have no system in place when the place actually gets busy, and they will not turn people away, so if someone has to wait an hour or two for their food, so be it. These people do some things right, but they do not seem to learn from their mistakes with staff. They literally lost ALL their servers this summer, one by one, including staff that had been with them for many years. Wake UP ! 

Vaticano is a great place to work with on going support and
coaching from the executive chef owner and his management 
team.I had further improved my wine knowledge from their very
extensive wine list and from the sommerlier.I sometimes find
harder to deliver the wine on time to the guest since we dont 
always have a sommelier  on each shifts.Vaticano has limited 
staff.The most fun time was the regular clients whom are extremly
friendly and easy and of course being worked for owner and Chef at
Vaticano..

Hands on owner that works on the line. Polite servers everyone is friendly and works as a team. Learning how to make everything from scratch from pasta, cakes, bread. Always having fresh ingredients to work with in a well maintained kitchen 

My time at Vaticano was fun and productive, we had a good team and I have no complaints or anything bad to say about the company. A typical day at Vaticano would be prepping for dinner time and hen working until closing.

I learn alot from team work to pro active skills, confidence builded and customer service upgraded. I learned to be professional in different country and learn solid career prospects.

A very fun place to work, excellent regular loyal clientele, outstanding kitchen staffs. A small group of staff and everyone works together as a family.

It was so great but too bad i have to move to a new company. I wish i stay longer but some factors comes, but the thing

Was a great job unfortunately the quality of product was not there management didn't care.never busy too many problems with staff.unfortunately closed.

Wonderful place to work.  Feel like part of a Family.  Very understanding work team.  It's nice always getting guest who are positive.  It makes like great.
