VCM Construction

I’ve been with VCM for almost 3 years. I enjoy working for them because of the variety of work they do being a general contractor. we get to work on the job from start to finish. Starting with the concrete and finishing with installing doors and hardware. I honestly haven’t had any problems since I’ve been with the company. The pay has been above average compared to other local companies which is great because let’s be honest, we work for money. So it’s a nice incentive to work hard and to put in the effort to do a good job.

some jobs require u to be on road away from family

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
welcoming...nd understanding...they gave me time off to be with family when i lost my mother

lots of rewarding hard work...u feel good about a good days work put in

VCM is a great company to work. Management is very supportive. Co-workers are easy to deal with. Family and work balance is great. Management is very considerate and provides parties for employees and family member.

Management is very supportive and encouraging-but not employed for long. Lots of benefits and I'm hoping to get back with them in the future. I was working on concrete forms of new schools in Saskatoon and Martensville, Sask.-all work that  I'm accustomed to.

A great company to work for,great working conditions great support for family services,great benifeits,a wide variety of job sites.Supplie all power tools needed for task.

would recommend and work for them again. I have learned alot of skills for construction with good bosses and supervisors. workplace is clean and safe.

Jobs vary different areas to learn and grow in taken care of out of town, every job is different, company vehicle travel paid for out of town work apprenticeship offered

Enjoyed working for this company, was laid off do to shortage of work. Would definitely work them again in the future. Fair wages, good management, excellent co workers. 

hired due to my name being thought of the opposite sex...thought I was a female. Hired, and basically just used with promise of more work which never happened.

During the time with this compny I gained a lot of experience and knowledge from my supervisors and co-workers.
