VILLA MARGUERITE

The culture of the workplace is very poor. Staff, specifically management are not very sensitive to staff/employee needs. Tasks are forced unto support staff, even though they are phrased as questions it is made apparent that the manager will go around you if necessary. Managers often say whatever they please without thought as to the appropriateness of the topic. They’re not quite supportive of staff. And they lack staff confidentiality. There is little to no room for growth.  

Only been here a month but have to say, great staff, friendly management and a focus on the resident as a person that makes me love coming into work each day.  Sometimes the residents are challenging but the health care team is very helpful and everyone from management to the kitchen staff support each other in helping to make each other's jobs easier.  I will definitely be staying here as long as they want me around.

Really great management and great people to work with.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The residents can be demanding sometimes

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Healthy and team-oriented. The system or workflow has been well thought of

The most enjoyable part of the job is been able to spend a bit of time with the resident in doing something for them.

The hardest part of the job, is a lack of communication between staff and the owners.. And not been able to share our taughts and opinions on any - policies.

Terrible owners make you work 12 hours or more a day and then come pay the withhold any hours after 48 saying they can’t pay any overtime pay plus they only issue certain staff bonuses and have a habit of firing you before the 3 months is up to avoid giving you the dollar raise that’s promised 

Doing fun activities with clients such as coloring, painting nails, and physical exercise. Enjoy my time here, I would encourage others to work at villa Marguerite.

This was a wonderful facility that assisted with my personal growth as an individual. I learned and acquired many skills from this experience, and will continue utilize my experiences moving forward.

A good working place that allow professional development . Co workers are fantastic. Villa Marguerite is one the well paid organization. I dont have problem with their management style. 

Beautiful building. Staff are good to work with. Job role is not clearly defined and therefore many staff can run into areas of uncertainty with very little management support

Hostile environment more concern about money than patient care. No teamwork, long hours no help from others. Safety issues overlooked, only plus is that the residents are great.
