VIP Valet

The job in itself was easy because I just held a flag and waved people to their parking spot.

They gave us unpaid training and they make you pay for half of your uniform. (Which is illegal)

There were no guaranteed hours.  If they like you, they will give you a lot of hours.  If they do not, they will cut your shifts last minute, like they did to me.  They were cowardly in that they cut my shifts instead of firing me outright.  I called them and asked if I was fired and they said that they had no positions available.

My co-worker's car was vandalized by another co-worker.  

The workplace culture is needlessly competitive and one of the guys in charge just fires people he has a vendetta against.  Very immature.

I started around an year ago as a part time, thinking of this as any other job but to my surprise it came out to be a really fun job. Great working environment and excellent management. The best part here is flexible working timings. VIP has many full time and part time jobs which suits almost everyone’s schedule and management works really hard to make sure everyone stays happy and gets to work as per the availability. Good drivers have many growth opportunities as good work is always noticed and appreciated. VIP takes care of the working environment and makes sure to provide all the required accessories and components as per the job and whether requirements.

This job is perfect for those that can work very inconsistent hours. The company is extremely flexible and it truly feels like you’re working as a part of a family. The guys represent the company very well and there is a very well structured way of doing things. VIP valet aims to be, and is already very much ahead of the game. The company isn’t just your ordinary car-parking service but rather is a service to which the clients can rely on to satisfy their needs at all costs and make sure that the beginning and end of their night is the highlight!

Pros : This is a great side gig in the summers if you love cars.

Cons :
- Poor management
- Poor compensation
- Horrible disrespectful Owners of the company
- Not much room to grow
- Some team leads are disrespectful and think they own you.
- It is a brutal job in the winters.

Working for VIP Valet is a great experience. There is variety of places to work (Montreal and surroundings). Tips are shared so there is equality for all valets. You can choose when to work so you are not tied to a fixed schedule.

Worked for this company for 2 months and they always messed with your pay, never on time and management was extremely sketchy.  The job itself however it's too bad the management were trash.

This company I am working for is part-time employment. I enjoy this job because it is a social job and I am always meeting new people at these events where VIP Valet is hired. I enjoy that I am working outdoors and constantly on the move and busy.

The hours are flexible. It's a great job to have while I'm in school.  The management is flexible with the hours that I'm available.  Fun events. Drove and saw cool cars.  Great team to work with.

Sometimes Vip Valet would pay us every month and we would have to call many time to make sure that we would get our money. Not worth it if you ask me. With your base pay you lucky if you get minimum wage.

I really like to work for the company. I'm in my second month, good work team, everything I asked or requested until the moment was attended and good work environment. I recommend.
