For the first 4 months, I worked as a boxer which is basically making boxes and putting bottles into them. Then I began to hand label bottles and progressed to running a labeling machine for about 1 1/2 years. I then applied for a position as an order picker/packer. I used an RF scanner to accurately pick orders and then boxed them for shipment. I also picked large orders which required me to "build" solid, sturdy skids. Management was often un-supportive of the production staff however most of my co-workers were very helpful and easy to get along with. Working as an order picker/packer was one of the most enjoyable positions that I have ever had as we basically got our scanners and orders and went about the job with very little stress or conflict. I think the hardest part of any of the positions which I held with this company was running the labeling machine and getting a line mechanic to fix it in a timely manner when there were operating issues.

This is by far the worst paying company I've worked for. They will only pay you minimum wage and once a year you will get a raise of ten cents. The people in management positions who don't work in stores do not care about their employees, especially during covid when there was a lot of abusive customers. They only care about the sales and money they make. It was very frustrating when they sit at their desks all day not having to deal with people on the front lines. Their policy for employees is to serve abusive and anti mask customers no matter what. You also have to stand and stare at the floor for most of your shift because they do not let you sit down or bring a book when the store gets slow. (which is all the time) 

The overall workplace has a culture of not being supportive to some of it's workforce. The work force is mostly of one ethnic people and all a worker wold hear is the language spoken by those people when the official rules of working are English on the floor when working and anything when not speak whatever you language you want. The management of department(s) is set to make people fail if you are not liked. A worker will find that their work is sabotaged, but by then the worker will have been terminated from working there when they find out. If you are of a particular ethnicity then you would be welcome with open arms. If not, and you are lucky to become an employee, it it time to watch your back.

Company doesn't care about people, only paperwork, everything revolves around making paperwork look good. People always throwing each other under the bus. Zero solidarity even though it's union. Very difficult to deal with and misrepresented the job they offered me. Nothing good to say.

but working in manufacturing is very stressful, fast paced.
work itself is good. but new management is on power trip and somewhat difficult to deal with.

I was lucky enough to have a great team to work with. My management was great cant complain, they accommodated me with the schedule that fit my work schedule. All my co-workers were happy and friendly people that did their work even if boss wasnt around.

Typical day includes tending to customers and helping them decide on products. I learnt a lot about natural health and supplements. The hardest part of the job is assisting more difficult customers. The most enjoyable part was definitely the staff and regular customers.

A very cliquey environment especially the management team. No loyalty towards staff. Very weak HR department and support. Leadership is very one-sided and not open to thoughts or suggestions. Management afraid of the union which results in poor leadership. Little growth potential. No heart for it's employees.

I learned alot about my health and the products we sell. Changed my life as far as my own health .  Never felt better as far as my mind set and how I wanna live and the things that I eat.

its very fun to work in this company , management were good , except too much political issues here,
but i learned a lot in this company, i like to work here too if the salary is good,
