This is an entry level video game testing experience. It was mostly alpha to beta game polishing and when I was there was quite chaotic. This is probably because it was in early stages of establishment, so my rating for the company may be unfair.

- Willing to hire fresh grads or people with relatively little experience and train them - No shortage of work and there can be a decent variety of projects to work on - There is mobility within the company if you work hard and are a go-getter - Reasonable benefits - Company culture is good with some genuinely nice people that are willing to help if you ask - During my time at Ensemble, more effort was put into planning company events (lunches, sports, game nights, etc)

It's a good starting point for those looking to get into QA or related fields or those who want to make a bit of money on the side working from home.

You get paid through PayPal at the end of a game's testing period which can take months and depending on how many sessions you sign up for will most likely not give you much of a payout.

This is very much something you do for the experience or as a way to make a little extra rather than stable employment.

Start my day with downloading daily new builds. As the builds were downloading I looked for bugs online to look for in the game. After the build finished downloading I would regress the bugs. After the initial regressions I would finish the day with stability tests. I learned how a lot of new softwares worked. Hardest part of the job was that sometimes communications with the higher up people were difficult.

Good work environment with excellent coworkers and management (at least lower level, rarely interacted with upper management). Depending on which project you are assigned, the hours can range from very stable 9-5 to a more sporadic schedule depending on who the client is. Pay leaves alot to be desired, but working here includes health benefits. I can safely say that I enjoyed my time there

The job is fun and easy, I play the game and find the problems in it. I have nice insurance, that is better then most places I have worked, but it`s minimum wage. Most days goes by easy and well, but it`s very stressful to know my schedule day by day. I can work one day and not the other, I wouldn`t mind if I didn`t have bills to pay.

Not bad place to start, but horrible management. Join if you need experience in the gaming industry, but a few months after joining, you will feel like  you learned nothing. No connections with managers at all. You are treated as a field member, which means they really don't care about you.

Management are very sneaky and fake with their employees. The pay is beyond inexcusable.

There is zero help with any advancement, you really need to do all your own networking.

Terrible pay with little job security, however the people i worked with will always have a place in my heart, asside from being broke all the time because they pay minimum wage. The people really did make working there wonderfull, I miss them all.

Nice place to work, co-workers make you want to go every day, management is really fair and communicative and I really appreciate that. It´s a job where you need to be really decisive and know how to do a proper investigation with the tools offered.
