Great place to work experienced rapid growth and advancement. I got the experience to wear many different hats as someone or something was always sick or urgent which pushed you to learn something completely out of what you are used to. Culture was great, and very diverse which is awesome. 

The hardest part of the job was often dealing with driver shortages which creates a lot of extra steps for many different teams; However creating the solution to the problem was always the most gratifying.

What is the best part of working at the company?
As a driver you have a choice of runs each week. Pay is competitive and equipment maintenance has gotten better.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Dispatch doesn't respect drivers and lets city drivers use tractors on our days off. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Was great until "New" people started in dispatch and act like upper management.  

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Show up and drive.. thats your job.

What is the best part of working at the company?
People working in office all are good ,Nice respected ,understanding. Company equipment updated new , payment on time

I have no bad experience, they always helpful

Respect , understand situation and believe driver 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Off course covid 19  days  when stay home for safety reasons .

i was base at canada bread Laval ,i was a B train driver,unloading by hand a lot of rack like 2 trailor and filling it up with empty bread rack, i stay there 6 month usualy a guy stay a week or 2 and quit,hard work but i like the customer,never mist a day always on time,work all my holly day and at fall wend they have to cut a driver they harassm me till i quit,hopefully i take picture of the poor condition of equipment and at least have imployement,

I appreciate that VTL took the time to train me on LCV.  I  enjoyed driving but I was finding it difficult to operate unsafe equipment.  If I had an issues in the evening there was no one available to assist or help me.   I was the only company employee in Ontario so I was often left out of communications in regards to payroll, benefits, and policies.

The day at work was easy at first.
I learn new parts of the business.
The management was good at first but got worse.
The workplace culture was all about the race of the people.
Dealing with the dispatch.
It was close to my home and the hours was great.

Good amount of work for drivers both city drivers and US drivers. US drivers  have new trucks and city trucks are little older but company is good to work with as long as you are punctual 

They do not respect hours of service and weight regulations, do not provide LCV route maps for their driver and they are not professional at all.

The president is a hypocrite, he had good people, but there is a continuous change in personnel.  Not a place conducive for respect and loyalty on the part of management

Unfriendly and unhelpful environment 
Bad management 
Just run away and even give it a try
