Management is the BIGGEST problem there. They keep hiring people that don't know how to do the jobs they're hired for and hope that a couple of days of training will make them experts. 
If you want to actually advance in your career, go to a different company. They will happily let incompetent people do difficult jobs that could injure everyone in the plant. They will also let people with crippling injuries do jobs that will worsen said injury.
I barely get to see my wife and kids because of the pile of things that need to get done and I'm working 6 days a week to MAYBE catch up.
Basically, it's just a massive Jenga tower waiting to collapse and management and possibly the CEO are refusing to acknowledge it.
Unless you're from the Labour Board, don't waste your time here.

This is that typical company where everyone in power is related in someway. It's also in a chaotic transition of ownership and leadership.

The previous owner retired giving it to his sons. Now most of the older guys who built the company are getting phased out and replaced with new young guys with bright ideas.
Putting more priority into posting videos on Facebook then ordering masks or gloves for the shop in the companies new norm.

The shop employees are viewed as expendable. 
They're favorite saying is "everyone can be replaced," so don't expect to be appreciated no matter how hard you work, or what skills you might have.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Getting let go. Working in prison would have been more enjoyable

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Always  worrying about the VP watching the cameras to see if you say anything to fellow co-workers. Strict no talking policy

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Special treatment for some workers. Very uncomfortable to while being threatened with the almighty attendance/ performance bonus.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Do your job and keep your head down. try to stay un-noticed

Look elsewhere unless you you want to be doing a different job than you were hired for. Management, especially HR will tell you one thing and then not hold up there part of the agreement. 
Supervisors talk behind your back. Never want to hear what you have to say.
Aged machinery that is very dangerous to use. 

I enjoy working here i do feel that due to cost of living wages need to be higher its a struggle to make ends meet and having to work over time to pay bills can be a bit stressful. I enjoy working though and the day goes by fairly quickly definitely great co workers though there is high turnarounds. I would recommend this company to a friend.

Management treats their employees like garbage not a very good environment to work it is better to find another place management didn’t care what you said the culture in there was thick didn’t really learn anything there the hardest part of my job was going there the most enjoyable part of my job was my partners I worked with 

Work environment is great and the company takes great pride in their work and most of all their employees.  Several operators have been given opportunities to grow their careers and have taken on roles in different areas within the company.   Supervisors and managers have the trust to run their departments without being micro managed.  Overall a great place to be. 

This company is not worth the effort for employment. The company is totally unprofessional with their employees. Some employees are treated very well but others are treated like underdogs. The workplace culture is horrible. Dealing with divided work force was very difficult.   

I miss it, I miss the people I worked with and the conversations we had. If the machines could talk they’d tell you many stories.

I don’t miss some of the politics but those are found everywhere you go.

Show up early, keep your eyes up and do the work.
