What is the best part of working at the company?
You can work here for a paycheck. If you're desperate for money, you'll get an income for as long as they decide to keep you

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
making 100 calls a day. yes. 100! that is the bare minimum and your manager will threaten your job if you don't make 100 calls every day. And you have to make those calls while keeping up with all the emails you get, managing paperwork for the students who are enrolling, attending meetings and also responding to messages from other departments. the job is OVER-fikking-WHELMING

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Work environment is made bearable by your co-workers because you're all stuck in the same boat and working in a tough economy so you laugh together when you're allowed to talk to each other because you understand each other's misery. Company culture is of disrespect, disregard and dehumanization. DON'T ACCEPT THEIR JOB OFFER if you care about your mental health. It's a CALL CENTRE JOB. You won't be assistant director of ANYthing. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Get in to work at 9:00 AM. Start making calls to people that don't want to talk to you or are completely irritated with how many calls they get from your college. Get hung up on 99 times. That one person who agrees to talk to you, you can't help because they're looking for education to get a permeant residency and private colleges can't give that.

Campus director was supportive

Extensive load of work, 
Expected to work outside of pay hours 
Very limited time to submit grades 
Large number of students 
Stressful and demanding environment 
Lack of empathy for instructors well being 
Unethical practices 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Very toxic as you are expected to work non stop, very little room for growth, unsupportive high management, low wages and unrealistic timelines for grading 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
You get earlier to set up the computer, projector, greet students, teach the class. 
Staff and students message you outside of working hours and you are expected to answer to messages, time to grade is unpaid ( even for hourly employees )

The atmosphere is often dark and on edge.  Everyone feels undervalued and disposable.  Pay is extremely low (minimum wage for most or just above).  If you ask for a raise, it is either denied or you are fired shortly after.  Lack of communication leads to confusion and misinformation.  School is never prepared for people to start, does not train new employees at all, and creates a one week - months in the job scramble to figure out what is going on.  Management is not approachable, does not value employees and lacks any kind of empathy for co-workers.  ie: you do as they say or you get fired, do something wrong and it's ok, then you get moved or given too much work or fired.

Good relations with students
Gained experience in adult learning and conflict resolution 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Big staff turnover of admin staff and campus directors 
No ease since start and empty promises never fulfilled, cutting hours , no benefits after the three month’s probation however it was promised 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
No real teamwork  no support questions not answered 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
It was okay sometimes needed to stay overtime for grading or supporting nstudents which was not valued and paid

Great people all round except minimum benefits and toxic work culture. Asian-bosses mentality. Practically a carrot-and-stick approach which did not work for many people. Turnovers were common. Manage to stick around due to 'bringing the numbers in'.  Corporate was not innovative. New instruction methods not adopted due to costs of implementation - and that were what modern students were searching for. Lame management just paying lip service but no action after periodic suggestions. Nothing worth to stay for after these couple of years. 

This was possibly the worst experience I have ever had.  There is no culture, high turnover of staff and focus is on "signing students" no matter what you must do to convince them.  High-pressure and focus is on numbers, numbers , numbers.   Often prospective students are not given the appropriate time to read the student handbook before being pressured to begin the financial aid process.  

Focus is not on relationship ships , but transactions achieve dollar volume and profits.

The students and relationships you build.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Being ask for more because they’ve downsized the on ground teams but never receiving raise and struggle to keep up with inflation.

On ground it great. Supportive coworkers.

Very busy and lot of multitasking.

working with the students and other instructors

poor upper management, wages never enough, not paid for prep time

locally pretty good, but upper management are bullies

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
teaching, 5 - 6 hours.  I do a lot of the prep at home.

What is agreed for wages may not be what they give you. 
Do not expect proper curriculum or for anything online to work properly. If you need help with this it may take days to get a response.
You get no paid prep time and most of the curriculum they have is outdated or non-existent so prep time is HUGE if you want your students to be successful.
There are some nice people there but the morale is abysmal. 
High turn-over with people leaving all the time.

- you will have no life
- you're one person doing 10 people's job
-directors are puppets to the top people
-long hours, no overtime pay,pay less, no appreciation instead they will pick on your mistakes
-high staff turnovers meaning they let go all the good ones and welcome workers with 0 experience, no clue on how to use computers properly 
-LOTS of promises but nothing done
-MONEY..MONEY..MONEY.. BUDGET..BUDGET..BUDGET
-toxic work environment
