Typically my day at work is really getting to know and understanding your client because there is a lot you have to take into consideration when you're working with different people. Plus in my line of work I have to be extremely sharp with precision and detail. What I've learnt in my line of work in that one on one interactions and the use of small talk is so important these days due to the fact that there's little to find. Management has always been easy whether it had to do with finance, time, equipment... you name it. I believe that my work culture happens to be very relaxed and easy going, plus time management means everything. Besides once I deal with a client with extremely negative attributes, I'm not working for them again. The hardest part of my job is that I would have to say that since I do not own my license in driving traveling which is extremely difficult for me if I have to travel to extreme distances. Plus when sometimes doing a client's makeup they can be sometimes very fidgety and then say they don't enjoy how they look but that's all with the process. The most enjoyable part of the job is that I get to meet and light peoples face's when they see the end result of the look. That's always the most satisfying

THIS COMMENT IS FROM A  GM'S /DOC'S POINT OF VIEW .Most private Homes are competitive because  of high costs and wages sometimes being lower. If there  is a good union it guides both management and staff to know where both  parties STAND at all times.  (THIS DIFUSES GRIEVANCES)  With the  increase in transportatiion cost , and wages not totally covering the costs moreso for single parents it's difficult. Several staff are leaving the Health Care Careers for several reasons...stress, weekend work and paying babysitters, or tired of weekend work, high work loads with less staff due to shortages etc. Poor moraletc

There was a wide of variety of tasks to be done. Everyday was interesting and not boring.  You never knew what each day was going to bring. There have been good days and then there were days when an individual that you were caring for would depart from this world and leave us in body but have alway stayed within my heart and God helped me through those times.  It is a rewarding job that gives one a feeling of making someone else world a better place.

This company will hire about 100 painters / year. I was one of them. Never had a customer complaint and always had excellent review and feedback from customers.  Still, although they promised year round work i was just simply not called back. No reason, no phone call. Do not expect any kind of job security with this company. Totally unprofessional.

Project management for construction sites involves organizing construction process from A to Z, this includes researching different brands and products, optimizing logistics and managing  schedules for various sub-contractor crews. This job is very time-oriented, where meeting deadlines is everything.

I love working in the cannabis industry, I was able to learn so much about how cannabis is grown, cared for, how it's harvested and packaged, shipped out to dispensaries and then distributed. I had a part to play in all areas while working for legal producers. Highly recommend this field of work. 

I loved working for myself as a framing contractor,
I loved the physical aspect of the job. I loved my co workers and I loved the work.
The only stressful part was finding new homes to build during slow times or bad weather.

The most enjoyable part of the job was seeing the beautiful smiles on my customers(Bosses) faces. I never really had any complaints about the jobs, the environment was very friendly and productive.

Stay organized and take pride in your work. Be nice to everyone and show up when you say and finish when you say you will be done. Clean up nicely while working and also when job is completed.

Great and challenging work, doing maintenance for a private contractor company in various buildings around the GTA.
