Typical day: Checking in used car trade-ins. Delegating work orders relative to unit's requirements. Keeping used car sales lot in show-able condition for customers. Organize whole sale auctions. Problem solving. Used car inventory management. 

What I learned: To be patient with different personalities and egos. Just keep working hard and focus on my own responsibilities.

Management: Nobody's perfect but generally a good team. A bit too involved with certain employees as favoritism at times occurs.

Co-workers: In sales, fairly difficult to work with as complacency is a commonality. Other departments, however, hard-working and team-orientated. 

Hardest part of the job: Repetitiveness

I worked as the evening receptionist but there were changes happening within the company and hours were being cut and they were laying off staff.  I was planning on leaving anyway because I was having an allergy reaction to products used in Parts/Service/Bodyshop.

I enjoyed working with the salesmen.  Easy going; they had a great sense of humour.  It was a extremely busy environment but when it was slow, it was a fun place to work.

I have worked at a few dealerships, and this one was the friendliest.

Management will help you achieve success through structured customer call sessions and positive reinforcement.

I left for personal reasons,  but would like to work for Varsity again in the future.

Great management, shows praise for hard work and going above and beyond expectations. Job security is good, better if you are a speciality technician. Great employees and good pay but hours differ frequently.

Working here was terrible , management from the dealer principal and down treat staff as they are only a number no support or respect.  The more you give the more they take. Pay is terrible. 

A lot of technicians are led to think they will get to go to school to get a red seal, unfortunately a lot of people get lead on and never get sent. management was OK, the shop manager was awesome, all other managers were not as good.

I loved working here. Unfortunately I had to leave due to family issues at the time. The staff are amazing, the culture is great. Very up beat and fun place to be.

I like my job at Varsity Chrysler, it's a family feeling, great staff and everyone works together to make things happen. Productive place and fun place to work

You are expected to work for 12-13 hours. The calls you make are never enough according to the managers. You wont get any internet leads if you are not one the managers favourite.
