It's a factory which is good. That would help uplift most people out of poverty. And they just received a few new lines for chrysler, but there are still many kinks that need to be worked out and management, either through lack of will, or lack of knowledge, cannot make these changes happen, that would increase their production.

A few select people get to do whatever they want and pick the jobs that they work.What others are stuck with, the more manual and physically demanding ones.

The middle management supervisors need to get some training and need to work on their people skills. 

There is a union there unifor. Although it would hard to see any real union working there, it seems to be a problem of laziness, or that there is a relationship behind the scenes that doesn't allow the workers to truly be protected.

When I was hired, I was hired for a specific job. It seems the HR management that employed me quit his job and left me in the dust. 

I've been working with Ventra for sometime now and it's a good job for the amount of work compared to pay. A lot of complaints of it being like a high school because of drama are self inflicted in my opinion. People will create drama with others and then complain about all the drama. Keep to yourself and stick to the work and you'll be fine. The benefits are alright I just wish that they had better dental benefits and there are nothing for more serious teeth procedures. The supervisors are alright, and the work is alright. It's a good job to get a lot of experience and you can move up pretty fast, the hours and the breaks are a little lame but the work is pretty easy for the wage. The hardest part of the job is honestly just getting used to using your hands and standing doing the same repetitive job over and over but you have the option of getting switched around and finding new ways to tackle the same job.

A typical day at Ventra Assembly Company would be 8 hours of a fast pace moving or building parts to keep up with the speed of the assembly line. What you can learn there is how processes take place and some organizational skills. The management there are behind the scenes and are represented by supervisors that lie and threaten people if they do not meet their unrealistic production quotas. The hardest part of the job is putting up with the stress caused by the supervisors threatening to write you up everyday. The enjoyable part of the job is meeting some good hard working people and having some laughs.

It seemed like the managers had no structure to the way things work. I was a great worker and put everything I had in this job and was confident I would be hired full time. I was laid off on my 89th day. I had just found out I was pregnant with my daughter and that was the reason for the lay off. 

Management is suppose to bring you to different stations to learn the different machinery but did not put the time or effort to properly train their employees. The worst place I have ever worked for.

Every single day when I work there

Paid lunches and breaks once you pick a shift your stuck on it, Lots of mandatory Saturdays, The people are nice just stay in the right crowd, Lots of repetitive work,You can be on a different job everyday or the same for weeks and months try to learn as many as you can, Great health benefits! 

Vantra was a very relaxed place to work its alittle worm In the summer but they take very good care of you on company time and it's not much heavy lifting it's all pretty Light and very easy to do most of the time they will start you off on b line witch is a really chill place in the plant in my Opinion. 

Not a good place to work, management will throw you under the bus and stab you in the back if it benefits them.  To many fake people there that will rat on you and the management plays favorites all the time.  Hours are never good and you work every Saturday because they make it mandatory.

Management do nothing to raise the morale of the factory. They make promises they don't keep. Supervisor's are allowed to verbally abuse employees. The best employee's are used and abused while the worst employees are coddled and accomodated on a daily basis.

Working at Ventra is great, The people are really great, you feel like you're part of a family, but the conditions of working are okay, management is okay, but job security is bad, if the company doesn't have line up of parts it will fire its temps really quickly.
