Management will typically delegate tasks and trust that the job will be done with little to no micromanagement. 

Everyone is friendly in both the plant and the office and extremely welcoming to new employees/visitors - visitors always leave our premises on a good note. 

Overall, it's a great place to work with lot's of room for growth for the right individuals!

I work in production at VersaPet for many years and just the last three months there is so many problems.  It wasn't like this in the past but with new management it has been really frustrating.  The normal communication from head office is not there anymore and several people have left their jobs.  I am not sure what is going on internally with ownership but it is hurting the long standing employees in the company.  Crossing my fingers and hoping it gets better before it gets worse.

This is easily the worst place I’ve ever worked, they have a guy working on the train tracks BY HIMSELF which is illegal and the management is very lazy and disorganized, Supervisor for morning shift is rude and very hostile, will yell at employees for no reason and NOBODY is on the same page, MOST employees work very hard besides a few who stand around putting more work on others and management does nothing to fix it, people have stuff stolen but management does nothing

I just started last week and the plant manager was very welcoming.  Was introduced to the entire staff and they encouraged my ideas along with my thoughts.  They are very strict in terms of cleanliness of the plant; abide by rules and policies to ensure a positive and clean environment.  Several benefits but I can say the best would be how flexible the team are in terms of working hours when needed.

I worked here for almost 2 years in quality department, the staff is helpful and friendly. The quality manger is very helpful , informative and learned a lot form her. Her nature is very humble, always ready to help. Quality manager here is the best mentor I have ever worked under and the stuff she taught me is aiding me to grow in my field. Thank you very much!

Versapet is a great placed to work. Fast paced environment manufacture with great culture and reliable leader. Versapet produces cat litter so it can dusty because of the material. They supply PPE and respirators if needed. They also have performance based incentive which is awesome!

I just left the company and worked in the office.  It honestly seems that everyone is on a different page.  There is no support or clear vision into the future.  Several on the employees in the office think the same but do not voice their opinion.  The new owners are bringing on their own people without bringing existing staff into their circle.  Hopefully they change because it is effecting the entire company with poor morale.

No support from Management nor  definite job description. Very unorganized. Too toxic environment.  My manager is too selfish and whatever makes her look good will go for that otherwise she will throw her staff out of the bus once mistake is done. Blame it on you all the way, coz its gonna ruin her so called reputation. My co workers are lazy and sits around.

Your overworked and underpaid. Company benefits are below the average. Dirty and unhealthy work environment. No accountability for management or workers.
Would not recommend working at Versapet to anyone.
