Vialto Partners LLP is a TERRIBLE company to work for, as a Law Clerk or Associate. They make many promises regarding a great atmosphere to work in, this is a lie. The pressure is unsurmountable, the "goals" are always impossible to achieve as they are constantly moving, the work-life balance is non-existent. They consistently give their upper-management bonuses and healthy raises while treating Law Clerks and Associates and disposable. Undermining their decades of experience, regardless of easily applying this same experience to the work place claiming to be a "niche market" - therefore, you start at the bottom. You are not entitled to any boundaries, you are bullied, and then you will get laid off without warning or cause. They then attempt to silence you about your terrible experience by requesting a release letter be signed for a few pennies added to your severance. Company-wide meetings are nothing more than a comical circle-jerk for the executives, while forgoing payroll issues that have been consistent since their inception.

I experienced no work-life balance, as you may need to work after hours just to get the daily work done, and once it's done and the day is over you keep thinking about the next day and stress never ends. Managers/Directors are not caring. It's just work oriented and no other human interaction. Systems are not well built yet and needs time to be seasoned. Still using multiple spreadsheets rather than a complete system. I hope it gets better in time. Haven't seen any company event for employees. 

What is the best part of working at the company?
I was able to work fully remote! 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The onboard training was non existent. The workload was significant, with aggressive timelines, which required working 10 or more hours a day, and weekends too! 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Hard to tell, I was too busy trying to get the job done! 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Trying to figure out the company structure, and who the players were, given there was little to no training.

I would not recommend working here. Client-side expectations set by management (hence everyday work duties) are not reasonable and neither is the scope of work, if that is even clear in your role. The pay does not balance out the expectations. The firm's public values do not match the internal experience and you will not have personal professional growth here. There could be progression if you ally with the right people but that seems to be more luck than an actual evaluation of your skills.

Go here only if you are desperate for a job. 
If you have time on hand look for another employer.

Diversity and acceptance is only in the physical sense, not in the form of thoughts and ideas

Superficial conversations and straight up false promises and lies.. 


If you're into working the long hours to gain the experience, climbing the corporate ladder and earning a little more than the minimum living wage in your area then this company is for you. Otherwise steer clear.

Stress.
New hires will be boxed out by the same old staff who have been there for years.
Struggling to pay compensation correctly and on time.
Seem to have extremely high standard considering no brand and below market pay.

Prepared personal tax returns. Pretty good processes. You'll learn as much as you sign up for. Don't expect a lot though during busy season as a contract employee

Hired by Vialto as an Independent Contractor - the contract was 3 months and renewed for another 3 months - work was overwhelming with mandatory overtime to meet tight deadlines - no work-life balance - do not hire after contract

Pros: Good workplace with nice team members and managers.
Cons: Too much pressure from the client-faced sides. Very limited internal opportunities after independence from PWC.
