I was told that this was a rapidly growing company when I first interviewed. It is however, the company tries to do the everything for the cheapest possible. Work long hours of overtime. HR is inexperienced and they do not care for the employees. Majority of departments are understaffed and underpaid and they don't offer the training promised through the interview process. resources are not properly set up and they do not advise us early of big things happening until they happen which adds more stress.

When you interview, HR asks you what are your salary expectations. Instead of posting the range, I feel they do that to see if you will say a low enough number to fit in to their price range. Trust me, the stress is not worth the low salary and small discounts on products

The pay doesn’t reflect the amount of work expected, especially when you're regularly taking on tasks from other departments. There’s little recognition for individual effort, and more responsibilities are often added based on the assumption you have extra time — but without any overtime pay.

The “we’re like family” culture felt genuine at first, but that changed as the company grew. It was disappointing to see hardworking employees let go, even when the workload was already stretched thin.

That said, there are some truly great people who work here — the kind who support their teammates and make the day-to-day experience better. Their presence made a big difference and is the main reason I didn’t rate the company lower.

the pay does not reflect the work, hours are long and management does not help your reach your potential. they only care about results . HR is inexperienced and i would not recommend working here. The work is misleading and they advertised support and training and there was none. every person only cares about themselves .

Lots of talk of advancement but you will have to work lots of overtime and do the job of many without the financial compensation. No work life balance and you will have to pick up the slack of others. Very stressful environment.

I really enjoy working at Victoria Park. The work environment is positive, and the culture is supportive and welcoming. I feel supported and heard, and I appreciate the opportunities Victoria Park provides for team bonding and connection. I truly appreciate being part of such a great team and look forward to continuing to grow and develop within the company.


Fun environment there’s lots to learn but unfortunately they will not pay you more for taking on more responsibilities and they do not give you a job description when you start working. There’s no room for growth. Some of the laser technicians can be rude and think you’re a personal assistant

No two days look a like! Great work environment where management is open to best practices and ideas to grow the company!  Flexibility in head office for hybrid work from home/office schedule.  Ideas always feel welcomed and heard.

Really liked my environnement and my team but the salary was not competitive enough compared to other similar companies.
Tried to have advancement but really difficult for me. Benefits are ok but not great. The values of the company are really good though.

Benefits are the bare minimum, pay is based on your experience so it is fair and doing the job description was manageable. 
The team is snobby, entitled and management is not supportive making the workplace toxic. Not a place I recommend working at.
