worked there for 14 months and moved on.  Amount of work was more for two people, rushed and not encouraged to get to know or spend much time with residents. Staff and co-workers watched you like a hawk so they could complain about things not well done. Cliques were favored by higher ups and heavier clients left to agency workers who did not know them or black staff. Often had to miss at least one break a day.  Place was well-equipped with work tools and staff encouraged to never work alone which made for a safer work environment.

I am extremely dissatisfied with how employees are treated. There is a clear lack of respect toward staff, and the environment often feels demeaning. Employees are valued based on status or academic level rather than their hard work. There are no real opportunities for promotion, no recognition, and no encouragement. The overall culture feels oppressive and ignores employee well-being.

Taking care of elders daily as some of them cannot be independent anymore is something that takes a lot of energy and effort to do. Only thing is management is hard on employees…
