Training new hires and existing staff to take phone calls for the hospitality industry, answering telephones, working with management and staffing to provide quality service to client.
I learned new skills on how to train new hires as well as working with scheduling department that was in a different town.
My co-workers consisted of management, other trainers and customer service staff.
The hardest part of the job was working nights and the overall stress of a call center.
The most enjoyable part of my job was working with our client, the company's senior trainers and all the staff and being recognized for making a significant contribution and doing a good job as a trainer.

It's nothing special. You do the same thing everyday all day. I enjoy the people that I work with but the Management does not know how to run a business properly and are very unorganized.

The hardest part about the job besides being bounced around and having new stuff thrown at you with little to no explanation, is dealing with upset guests. which can be annoying but its tolerable.

You really have to be able to roll with the punches and take a lot of situations with a grain of salt to be able to hold down a job here.

The most enjoyable thing about my job is the people that I work with. We keep each others spirits up.

Typical day is answering phones and helping customers with any issues on their account or booking a hotel stay.
I learned a great deal about what the consumer expects while travelling.
Management is great.
Workplace culture seems to want to ensure that everyone is comfortable with any position that arises. 
Hardest part of this job was calming an irate customer. I find that most of them just want someone to truly listen to them.
Most enjoyable part of the job was communicating with the customer and dealing with repeat customer. They love it when you remember them.

I enjoyed my time with this company for the most part. I liked the people I worked with and I enjoyed the customers on the phone. I especially liked helping them to book thier holiday and finding them a good rate or package. It was fun. The down part of this job is rhe pay. Very few raises. And the management left a lot of room for improvement. They were too young and imature sometimes. Theft of any bonuses was also a problem.

Pretty easy work. Answered calls to make hotel reservations for people.

Management was not that great- they nevr socialized much with employees.

Hardest part of job is dealing with angry or difficult customers.

Not much of this job is enjoyable.

Punctuality is key to being successful. Encouragement and guidance from Team Leads were very helpful and great listeners to help guide. Training was very thorough and hands on. Scheduling was a plus knowing month to month. Paid sick time + vacation. I would recommend VAS to many as a great employer.

The job as customer service representative was a learning experience in customer service and hotel management...I enjoyed working here but didnt feel I excelled here as much as I would have liked.

I found the management to be poor, and you were paid very little while working there. They did offer good medical/dental benefits.

Didn't get a full 40 hour week.  

Took calls for reservations for several different motels and hotels across the world.

Memorized ways to answer for certain places that was different from the other places of business
