It is a pretty sweet place to work I really have never had and complains except maybe to the fact I felt the manager was testing how little he had to say without paying me. because it was only after the fact i had to ask him if he needed my sim number or something because i was getting threatened of being kicked out. I mean it was my first job so i was jus enjoying the ride but when i asked him it was clear i was jus an after thought atleast thats what it felt like but yea it was really cool place except when it came down to buisness i kinda realized i was jus kinda not as valuable to even like talk money with but i guess thats my fault for not bring it up sooner anyways my hours and pay was off and i didnt get paid for training like i thought i would. Overall the whole money thing seemed off but i didint care enough till i had to to mention it shortly after they let me go. Good time fun experience just probably talk money asap cause i was kinda left hanging in that regard.

I was hired as a Front desk agent at the viscount. everyone seemed fairly friendly and when i was hired the manager knew i was still employeed at anlther job (and knew the amount of hours i was getting). Everything seemed ok and i never had any issues learning anything... except then i only had 1 shift for the week that was cancelled. and then no shifts the next week or the next. The manager and I would talk through email as thats how she would send the schedule but she just stopped emailing me. I called a few times but she never returned my calls either!! several months have passed so I guess I dont work there anymore. a pretty sorry and unprofessional way of letting someone go if you ask me. 

they would also badmouth and gossip about their coworkers a lot which seemed very unprofessional. 

overall easy job as long as they dont decide to let yiu go without you knowing!

Worked in banquets for a few months as a bartender and occasionally serving. The management was nonexistent... quite unprofessional, unorganized and unclear in duties, but very laid back. As a server, coworkers were very unhelpful and rude to all new staff and seemed very cliquey. Pretty much had to train myself as no instructions were given. Spent a lot of time standing around... asking what needed to be done but no one really responded. Bartending was very easy. Worked alone usually, made very basic drinks and occasionally made some tips. Overall, once I figured out what to do the job was easy.. just wish they had stronger staff and management who were more welcoming, team oriented, and willing to train.

Where to begin with this place? Maybe i should start with the complete lack of consistency in training and lack of care from coworkers who are so desperate to leave. The lack of customers is really boring and coupled with the cooks bothering restaurant staff with their constant harassment and obnoxious behaviour makes working here a nightmare. The managers couldn’t care less about staff, they talk behind all others backs. They treat you like garbage and as if you don’t matter at all. They will belittle you in front of others and then go and blame you. This is not a healthy work environment for anyone that values themselves and their mental health. Every day you will leave dejected and regret ever submitting your resume. Please do not work here unless you are completely desperate for a job.

A really terrible and demoralizing place to work. Management does not care at all about staff or their well being. They want to do as little as possible. If you do a good job there is absolutely no recognition. The kitchen staff is a cesspool of incompetent and inappropriate cooks. Cooks literally harass you in every way possible and then on top of it mess up food orders all the time. The atmosphere here is disgusting and only fuelled by the managers who gossip and say awful things about the staff. If you value your pride and dignity never work here. This place will destroy your happiness and mental health.

Worked here 3 years, went above and beyond for the company only to be unappreciated and stepped on. Management is a joke. Super dead all the time and boring. Whenever the till is short even a few cents you will be blamed, I was blamed once for the till being short even though I was away for two weeks and not even working. Ridiculous. This job gave me anxiety and depression that I still live with today from being abused by management.  Very unhealthy and not worth it to work here. Stay away or you’ll deeply regret it. 

A normal day at work was busy but good. I learned how to manage time and work with others. The managers were friendly and helpful. The workplace had a positive and respectful culture. The hardest part was finishing work on time, but it helped me improve. The best part was working with my team and learning new things every day. Overall, it was a nice place to work and a good experience for me.

Working here was great! The experience was fantastic.

 I just feel as though some changes need to be made with management. There needs to be more stability. 

All in all, you learn a lot from here.

Enjoyed working at the hotel even tho the pay wasn't great and not enough hours, I sure did enjoyed my job.
I worked hard and loved what I was doing, I've got to meet a lot of people and made some good friends.
