I was hired through a temp agency in 2021 as a seasonal worker.  The interview went very fast, and we were paid for online training. After the tour, they put me in the logistics department.

I had to work 3 consecutive  twelve hour shifts, Friday-Sunday. They can occasionally have mandatory overtime on the Monday afterwards but they ask the staff who want the hours to sign their name on a volunteer sheet, so it was incredibly rare for people who didn't want to show to be forced to. I personally only got 1 or 2 of those Monday shifts.  I'm not sure if they do this anymore, but getting my hours in 3 days then having the rest of the week to myself was wonderful. The time and a half on holidays was great, and many people came in a little costumed. 

I'll level with you, the work is hard but the pay is good. Lugging around in steel toed boots all day,  running around to meet your quota can be stressful for some. You do need to be a quick learner, seeing as if after a few weekends you're not picking it up within reason they'll let you go. As the season progresses they'll sometimes send you home early if there's no work, or move you to a different department. We had frequent issues with machinery but our managers were very understanding.

The company is massive, which is why many people have different experiences with management. Personally, in my department, my managers and supervisors were quite nice. I had felt sick one day and they were perfectly understanding and let me go home without any problems. The coworkers at the time were great too.  

All in all, if you don't mind the exhaustion, it's a decent place to work. If you hate your department I'm sure you can ask upper management for a switch. They sometimes hire seasonal workers as full time employees if they've worked a few seasons already, so there's that too. If you're looking for some extra cash, I definitely recommend the seasonal job. 


Extremely toxic management team, very opinionated and judgmental. They look for the bad in people and have a very prejudiced opinion of team members from the top of upper management all the way down to the supervision. They harass, belittle, judge and cast bias opinions of people and treat employees unfairly. Extremely controlling environment and if you have an opinion or idea of your own that does not align with theirs you are immediately outcast. They thrive off of investigations in which they manipulate and personalize to their liking and shame the team members involved. If I could give this establishment a zero I would. If you believe in the good of people and believe in being fair but firm when needed than you will not fit into this malicious culture. From Directors, VSO managers, Shift Managers and Supervisors, they are cult-like bullies, hypocrites and degrading, insensitive monsters. They protect who they want and eliminate at that same effect. Team members are so frightened at that facility and even when team members prove they can perform the work duties at an elevated capacity they are thrown to the wolves and terminated come hire time based off of personal preference. People are so undervalued there and besides the competitive wage it offers, nothing of satisfaction. The managers are perverted and cross lines on a daily basis because they feel they are on top of the world. There are so many great people that were wrongfully terminated from Vistaprint and unless you don't want to be added to that list, stay clear.

Schedule interviews and complete written correspondence to candidates;
Maintain general office documentation, policies and procedures;
Responsible for company access badges, distribution, issues and upkeep;
Liaison between temporary agencies;
Update and maintain temporary staff listing, absenteeism, hours, performance reviews and on-call listing;
Responsible for creating new hire announcements and ordering business cards;
Ensure all new hire packages are ready and available prior to employee start date
Responsible for meeting and greeting all visitors and colleagues from other offices in a hospitable manner;
Answer all incoming calls that have been directed to the front office;
Arrange and ensure that all necessary travel and transportation arrangements have been made for all incoming visitors and hourly staff leaving on business trips;
Responsible for assisting with the organization of all social and internal events ;
Work closely with all relevant peers/departments when booking luncheons;
Responsible for ordering all lower office supplies and ensuring that the inventory levels are maintained to allow the office to run efficiently;
Receive/Sort/Distribute incoming mail;
Assist HR department with administrative tasks;
Responsible for ensuring the bi-weekly 5S audits are completed and action items are follow-up;

Great learning experience as this was my first time in a manufacturing setting.
I learned shipping, sorting, floating, fetching and putting away items to their proper areas.
Was impressed that Joe in HR actually worked the areas of sorting and putting away. I wished he could have done the more difficult jobs like floating in b or c sections and shipping in C section.
My team leader pulled up her socks and helped in multiple ways. She was awesome. I really liked working with her as could explain things easily to you for whatever job was assigned to me.
Training could have been longer than two days as many co workers seem to have their own agenda on how things are to be done. Can be confusing at times. 
Co workers were helpful when I asked questions.
The hardest part of the job was lifting over loaded bins.
Changing jobs very two hours was the way to go and helped keep it interesting.
All in all I really enjoyed the job(s) and felt very comfortable speaking to my team leader.
I would work there again and hope I get called back.

 Prepare to sell your soul then tossed out on your hind, if you last even that long. The training is next to nil. The work easy but repetitive. Mind numbing and stressful as you spend more of your downtime checking in/out your tools and self from the system then you do to rest and break. This place is a joke, they treat the employees exactly as they see them as high turnover and easily replaceable. Most are hired through third party temporary job placement agencies with many who actually manage to stay employed stay as such. Most others are laid off before transitioning to long term secured job & position direct hire from within the company. The work isn't hard and most get in and out never getting to know one another never mind on a personal level but not even a first name basis. While the pay is weekly and well above minimum wage there is absolutely no job security and management is either clueless or just not interested in investing in you as an individual only in your ability to keep the line rolling meeting their hourly quotas and quantity standards.

(gave us letter how good we have here beacuse we have free uniforms, water fountains and overpriced cafeteria with uncooked fast food meals)
-half the managment is from automotive where they failed before and only have their positions beacuse they all almost come from one place
-management with no experience in the industry
-organization does not care about customers complaints
-maintenance, machine operators, supervisors, quality dep. not experienced in print indistry or does not care in improvement
-constant policy changes aka No policy in the workplace
-everyone is blaming eachother when issues arise instead of working togehter
global corporation with hundreds of milions gives $25 for christmas bonus and no option for booking day off during that time (busy season) when most of us meet with faily memebrs we did not see for long time
-no rotating shifts, even after whole place is asking for it for last 4 years
-lots of workers fired after they pass 5years seniority (gain 3rd week of vacation)

I was a temp worker for two years. I was paid well and trained well, but there is a culture of treating temps as 'lesser than' than the full time team. Temps get the same training and the same experience on the same machines and workflows (unless you need special certification) but we were treated as expendible. We get less 'strikes' than the full time workers before we get pulled aside for evaluation and a 'last chance' talk. I have seen good temp workers get let go just because they forgot to swipe their sign in card on the reader three times in a year.
When covid happened, almost everyone was temporarily laid off, and we expected that. What we didn't expect was for upper management to fire over half of the temporary staff while they were still laid off. Temps don't get paid if they don't work, so it's not like they were costing the company anything. They fired anyone with even one infraction, it was their way of cleaning house. Anyone who starts at Vistaprint starts as a temp, so be warned:job security is non-existent.

Vistaprint does not maintain their machines properly (repairing parts, updating dangerous machinery to operate), making it impossible to meet their hourly quota. Supervisors know this and still intentionally badger workers to work harder to increase the targets per hour because the supervisors get raises based on their section's performance. This leads to a toxic work environment, in my opinion. Not to mention, they do not maintain safety guards on machinery. Even willfully ignoring the fact that machine operators need to remove safety guards often to even fix a jam for example.  We are told that if we are seen touching these guards, we can get fired, though usually its required to proceed. And if you try and put a ticket in for maintenance, the mechanics are busy fixing all the other broken machines. This is not a great job to work at if you protect your mental health. 

Pays good because you have to "consistently" meet x amount of orders per hour, and go home exhausted. Lots of peeps I know get laid off even as good hard workers. Always hiring because they need manpower at times and when they don't, bye bye. Don't bother getting your calculator out because this place is only good for whatever amount of cash you can get. Management doesn't care about you and always stress about getting orders out on time.  Some management just don't know how to treat people right. Job can get stressful quite often depending on where you're working. Take a look at their stock on the market and see where it's going to end up. Find something else unless you want a quick buck. You only have so much time in one life.

Straight to the point: my experience at Vista has been OK - not great, not terrible.

If you don't mind highly monotonous work, you'll probably be fine here as the supervisors and trainers are generally nice and helpful. The pay is alright, the cafeteria is great, but expect to be bored out of your mind if you're the kind of person who wants something that requires problem solving, or anything that involves using your head. For your first few months they will likely put you on a very easy but extremely repetitive task.

Keep in mind if you are joining through a job agency - I have heard it may take a LONG time to get fully hired on if that's one of your goals.

Overall, I'd give it a 3/5. If you want some easy temporary work, it's worth it. For something permanent, maybe try somewhere else.
