The Co workers were great and very helpful but the management is two faced.I admit I was making a lot of mistakes on my job and they called me into the office to talk to me about it and told me that I needed to improve and they would do a review in 2 weeks.I went the entire two weeks without making a mistake and they still fired me exactly two weeks to the day of that meeting and I think the whole thing was planned.The head supervisor had just got back from a 3 week holiday two weeks earlier and the day before I got fired, he took the week off.Smell a rat yet?? If they didn't want me there they should of just fired me at the first meeting rather than build my hopes up.Instead I got my hopes dashed because of a lie.Not worth it unless you want to go to work each day having to watch your back

The management needs to be changed in order for people to see actual growth. H.R is the worst nightmare for all the people. Their was a time when only two people worked in the HR and things would run pretty smoothly. But now they have team of 8 people in the HR and none of them have a clue. Some managers are nice and very supportive. A lot of people have stayed in the company as their is no other company in Winnipeg to make a proper switch. The yearly raise is a joke and people who work at McDonald's gets more raise than that. A lot of people with good potential have left the company and went to better place for good money as they did not feel valued.

It’s a fast paced environment and there are some really amazing people who work there! My role featured lots of administrative tasks from a quality assurance lens. Highlights at the company were: they have a company store for employees to purchase discounted products, they gave away Turkeys at Thanksgiving and hold appreciation events such as holiday and pizza parties. There are limited opportunities for upward movement and as someone who has worked in several different departments with the organization, the experience (positive or negative) may vary greatly depending on the area and how you prefer to be managed. 

If you don't want much from your job and are just looking to coast while being subservient to other trades only because of seniority then this is the place for you. Enjoy.

Balanced work load and compensation for it. A good place if you are satisfy with mid range income, and relatively low stress/balanced work, which leave a time and power to have a live outside of work.

Vita is a great work place there is a good work life balance. Management and co-workers are very supportive. One of the best parts of my job is how every day is different, it is not a dull place to work there are always new opportunities. The challenge of working in a GMP and regulated environment provides many opportunities to learn and gain experience.

Nice people, management good, in store 70% vitamins supplement discount quarterly have gmp exam etc..etc you need to pass if not you be in trouble. 100% safety concerns for the workers. Quarterly have free lunch barbecue. I personally recommend this company 

I'm on a 1 term which I hope I will be extended or made permanent. 
I love coming to work everyday. I have a great team of designers to motivate me and teach me.
I'll be sad if not made permanent. It's the only part of the job that I worry about.

Overall I'm glad to have this experience at Vita.

As part of the management team I coordinate the shipping and receiving of pharmaceutical goods inside our warehouse and shipping facility.  Work closely with my employees to maximize results and encourage a comfortable and enjoyable work environment.

Balanced work load for a good work/home life mix, with average salary compensation. Highly regulated, fast paced environment with really great people.
