I've had my ups and downs with the hospital, but when I first started in 2021: I didn't know anything about union rules, procedures for applying for internal positions, probation periods for new employees, getting information to learn new things was a difficult task. Besides the negative, most of the staff are friendly, accommodating if you have special needs... They also have in-hospital programs for staff and family EAP, psychologist on call or by appointment, nurses station just for staff. 

A typical day at work was how short-staffed we were going to be and how stressful it was going to be to have an increased workload. Management was rarely available to help ease the workload stress. The workplace can be toxic due to disgruntled patients and stressed-out staff to work with. There was not much enjoyment in the job. There was pure exhaustion at the end  of working a shift.

A variety of positive and negative in this workplace. Patients are awesome and see our hard work; however, management need more training in order to help their staff. Often the new employees are not well oriented therefore causing chaos between different departments.

Kitchen,  highly toxic narcissists. Management, human resources. I worked in the kitchen for 4 and a half years. I've tried to get help to fix the toxity with no help from anyone. Union is also toxic. Even contacted board of labor nothing from them either. Employees yelling at each other with no discipline, because of the toxity. 

I notice since the province had decided to divide they hospitals into two network gradually the services provided decline to what we see today no staffs.

Nice place to work with different level of activite et works experiences. Place to learn the why? and the  how?. To work with group who the priority it's not the same for All. Learn to compromise and accomodate every one with the tool you got to work it.

Unfair pay, the nurses belittle you, higher ups do not care about your wellbeing, no support, if you call out sick prepare to be guilt tripped. Working with unqualified people because of how unstaffed the hospital is. overworked, burn out, ptsd, stress,  anxiety. 

I enjoyed working there, cause they were all nice people.  Team work was one thing i loved about it. We were connected to the patients and they felt we were taking care of them.  I miss working there.
