This was a great place to work at first. Atmosphere was positive and welcoming, fun work adventures, good people. That’s what made the overall experience, and this job is about getting “bookings” and we were getting the most bookings when it was a great environment. But over the last 6+ months, it has gone downhill. They made a couple of the BEST boomers supervisors, there’s one reason the bookings were low. They put a couple of the BEST bookers on other positions, where they get bookings for themselves and doesn’t include regular agent bookings. And they changed the criteria ALL THE TIME for what potential customers have to meet in order TO book them which made it more difficult. And yet agents were to blame for it. The management is highly highly poor, one sits at her desk and does nothing but condescend agents like she is better and more superior. Favouritism is definitely a thing at this office - management are really close with certain agents and they all talk negatively amongst each other about other agents. It went from being a great positive fun workplace where employees were encouraged to talk to management if there was an issue, to it becoming a poorly managed, negative, and two faced environment. Our boss, won’t even talk with any of the agents unless she favours them (which isn’t many), instead she will get supervisors or assistant manager to deal with it. 

The only pro about this office NOW is the benefits package after 6 months, the Christmas party at resort, work perks, spiffs and work balance/family life. Very very accommodating towards what people have going on at home, but I feel they get taken advantage of which is a con as well.

I honestly don't have too many negative things to say about this company, the work ethic was great, everyone got along, there were goals and rewards and always something going on. The only negative comment I have is the poor management. I worked here for maybe 2 months or just over two months, and every week you get an evaluation email about your performance, I only received 3 of those emails out of the 6 to maybe 7 weeks that I've been on the phone, given email took about 2 weeks I'll say 6. Either way that's 3 weeks going without knowing how I'm doing. When I did get these emails, the first one I responded to asking for a little help, and it got completely ignored. The second one I again responded that maybe I needed some help, and I got to train for a couple hours. Third email, at this point I know what I'm good at and what I'm not, so I ask if I can try the method I know I'm good at to help try and get me bookings, or if there was any suggestions my supervisor had, they gave me a suggestion and went on with their day, mind you they were busy making calls too, so I didn't complain. What really got to me was just the fact I didn't get any performance emails until the last few weeks of my employment. This really upsets me as I feel if I had gotten them earlier, I might've been able to improve a lot better. The most enjoyable part of this job though, would have to be the workplace events that are held. I was lucky enough to participate in The Amazing Race 2018, and that was purely a blast! Also the benefits you get (though I didn't get to experience using them) are amazing as well.

Co-workers and management both are easy to get along with, easy going attitude. Cold calling only for new representative's, leads and inbound call reserved for favored representative's.
 Training and skill building where next to non-existent. 
 On site management have little say other then general inquires.   Upper management off-site only look at booking totals not taking in account for technical issues out of representative's control.
  Very involved with local and abroad fund-raising as well as internal help for those truly in need.  
The Hardest part of the job is keeping your bookings up. 
The employee's and Management are truly wonderful people to work with, unfortunately on-site management seem to have their hands tied in front of their own face.

	Trade Shows: Select, reserve, organize marketing material and attend promotional events to acquire leads and qualified tours to meet the organization budgets. Recruit, train and manage necessary staff to facilitate these promotional events.
	Onsite Tour Generation: Market onsite guests for promotional tours.
	Assist in creating new promotional programs, for all sales lines.
	Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s activities.
	Support marketing management in organizing various marketing projects and other duties as required by the company.

This is a small but expanding call center. From my experience,the people for the most part are amazing. I really do enjoy working for this company, however it is not perfect but what place is. You can only work a certain maximum hours. Which is a lot lower than what we are legally aloud. So if making lots of quick cash is your goal. This wont help you. 

In terms of the different types of minimum wage jobs out there.. This is one of the best places to be, Your sitting at a desk, on the computer and phone. 

They do lots of incentives and other fun free things but they really need to raise their wages.

Management are not transparent about your compensations. Management system is old fashion micromanagement and control based, discriminating, discouraging, fear based, strict work hours, literally sensitive to minutes, and military type. Hiding behind the Christianity to look legit. After all I mentioned you get either minimum wage or the commission which is around $27,000 annual income in total at least for the first year.

Management is the most human that I've ever experienced in a call centre. They treat you like you're a member of the family. The spiffs & bonuses are quite nice, as are the various holiday events. They have Thanksgiving dinner for all employees, for example. They also have a very light-hearted atmosphere.

The revamped training program has really provided an opportunity to be successful. Like any call center you need a thick skin because people can be rude, but management understands and will help as much as possible. You will truly get out what you put in and the potential for growth is exciting.

Managers and supervisors are horrible. Pay no attention to rookies. Overall horrible work experience, later when I spoke to an employment agency and mentioned vitality assurance vacations and my complaints about them the lady I spoke with said the have a huge turn over rate, no one ever stays very long and often have the same complaints. Would not recommend working there, unless you want them to continuously cut your hours back, supervisors are catty and rude.

Timeshare - watch your pay cheque they will cut anything they can out of it. Work so hard and celebrate the sales then the back sales team down sells them to a trial to “save” the deal and all chances at your commission is lost. I felt bad for selling the product to people who couldn’t afford it, and people who can don’t attend $199/weekend getaways
