When I first started working at Voicelogic, they mentioned how it is an "on-call" position and hours vary during the weekdays. When you first start, your hours are pretty good but don't get too comfortable and let that fool you because of that all changes when you reached your one month working for them. They are ALWAYS hiring new people, which only cuts down the current employees hours. They'll keep cutting your hours to the point where you are out of work for nearly a month. I remember being able to work 4 or even 5 times a week when I first started to only being called into work for less than 3 days a week. 
As a disclaimer, I was a full-time college student who needed some work and that was that one job available. It got worse during the few months to only working 3 times a month to no jo work for the entirety of December. What is the point in having an on-call job where you're hiring people which will only cut competent employees hours short resulting to little to no pay? My best advice, don't bother applying there. You're better off going on welfare than working for these lazy employers who only care about themselves.

As a Black /Brown people you are not in control of your income. They won't let you make money. They tell you that its a day to day and shifts are not guaranteed meanwhile all the caucasians are working every day. As a Black/Brown person they will only give you 1-2 shifts a week max. They will only give more if they need dailing hours. They won't let you make anymore unless you are useful to them. In short, they only hire black/brown people as a spare tire and give you shifts if they need you. They will not allow you to work anymore 1-2 shifts a week otherwise no matter your qualification and skills, you have no value there.  

The management are an amazing group of people that really work with your schedule. They thoroughly train you and make your duties very clear so there is no guessing on what you should be doing. If you do have any questions they are extremely helpful and available at all times. It is very laid back and a comfortable environment. The only con is sometimes there are slow seasons but again the management works with your schedule to give you as many shifts as possible.

I loved working for Voicelogic. Very flexible hours, I bounced from part-time to full-time. Depending on your work ethic, you will gain more hours. 
Sometimes the work can slow down, it comes with the perks of having such a flexible schedule. Which they have been very open and honest about. 
Friendly staff, helpful & amazing managers in the call centre. Overall I had a good experience here, and enjoyed working in a comfortable environment.

you don't have a set schedule first off so your stuck wondering if or when your next shift will be. sometimes they book you all the time then when you have a couple of appointments to go to they cut your hours drastically until your eventually not getting any hours and end up looking somewhere else haven't gotten any type of  ROE from them and haven't worked for them for about 1.5 - 2  years now.

Management is really nice but the part time hours are really inconsistent. Also, time passes by very slowly. Yore are just constantly dialing numbers once you get there and thats pretty much you keep doing. Most of the time people will shut the phone on you as well so be prepared for that.

You don't need much skill. Pretty straight forward, read a script and deal with the customer. There is no real training they just throw you in there . Computers are extremely old, dirty and  nasty ; same goes for the chairs. There are NO benefits by the way. Pay is low. Management is alright i guess, not problematic. 

The hours are inconsistent part time, the work is boring but easy. I enjoyed being able to take as much time off as desired but would not recommend this job for someone looking for full time employment.

Hardest part was staying awake.

This job is quite easy as you just make phone calls throughout the day. It is pretty simple and the pay is decent. You will struggle staying awake as I almost slept during my shift. The major disadvantage is that you have to contact them for another shift and it is not guaranteed.

My first day was also my last day of work. I called each day for a second shift and they kept saying there wasn't anything available. I stopped calling and never heard from them again.
