I worked offsite but was always invited to any event held at the office.  There are monthly lunches that are fundraising events.  

The offsite location consisted of three of us and although we were friendly and enjoyed lunches together when possible, we each worked independently.  I knew that my efforts were appreciated which led to me feeling respected and trusted.

The hardest part of the job was having to leave.  I was hired for a short term project and stayed three times longer than expected but it was still hard to say goodbye.

the women(team leaders specifically,  the rest walk around pretending not to notice in fear)in this place have a lot of growing up to do. You will never get ahead bc of them , they make sure of it. You will get a smile to your face and a knife in the back on a regular basis and then they pretend “it’s to help you”. I actually considered medication for stress while here. 
Only work here if you need a paycheque and have no option !!! And if you do work here and speak up, YOU WILL GET RESTRUCTURED!! Aka FIRED.. LOL 

Working in accounting was a dreadful job. The employees are very cliqué and you're stuck in an open cubicle constantly criticized. 
I do not think there is any room for growth and would be stuck doing the same thing every day. There are much better jobs out there, with better pay and people. This place sucked the life out of me and you have no time for family. I understand the high turnover rate.

My experience at Vollmer has been great, from my interview process which was very upfront and informative through my time with the company.  They did not hide anything in terms of the job or what to expect, everything was open communication and explained.  The staff is great and very helpful at all times.  Good working environemtn. 

Avoid this office, previous poster is correct , the cliques in this company are unbelievable. This place will make you believe there is something wrong with you! I even tried a different department but it didn’t work, After leaving this place life was 10 times better.

A well rounded working environment were there's always people lending a helping hand. With being a multi trade contactor the amount of work was always limited where layoffs were frequent.

One of the best places I've ever worked for and the owner is down to earth and very nice. They take very good care of there employee's and already have charity's and free lunches. 

Health and safety is applied to every work order big or small. Vollmer seamlessly brings multiple trades together under one management. So be prepared to work.
