Trying not to get stressful do your job the best you can and be happy.

Work environment is good, culture also.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Every day is a different day depending on which line you are.

Unionized Company, Low Moral, Layoffs, no guarantee of 40 hours a week even though that was guaranteed in the interview. As a Middle Person you do 70% of the work while the Head Wafer people make $4 more per hour than you. Was a waste of time at this company hence it's a revolving door of constant hires. The Four Supervisors were excellent they should flip roles with Upper Management because HR people are a train wreck. No Clue even with a road map!

Not a great place to work, negative work environment. Packaging woman are petty and full of drama and gossip. Lack of discipline for the ones who should be disciplined. The picking and choosing and favoritism is apart of there old school ways. Management is not the best. 

Voortman  offers opportunities within the company to learn news skills which, in turn, opens up next-level remuneration. Training is provided and applying for internal positions is encouraged. Supervisors are willing to listen and work with you to improve your personal work environment. This company stresses personal safety and works hard to keep staff up to date on safe practices

People are so nice and welcoming there but operates as small company. Technical reports or systems are not updated. 
Communication - With lack of technology the communication between warehouse operations to main office lacks.

Truly a wonderful place to work where hard work is rewarded And you can be promoted from within, everyone works hard, but works together. Some overtime available

Pay is decent. Management has favoritism. Rotating shifts weekly are exhausting. Don't care about you just production and numbers. The only pro is yearly bonus at Christmas. 

It's hard to constantly change shifts. Just when you get used to one shift, you already have to go out and work on another, and it’s difficult to agree with your boss to work the shift that you like.

Best Job I have ever had.
Being an independent Distributor for them is  something I  should have persued years ago.
 Coming from the corporate world to being self employed is a great transition.

Never was stressed out while I worked here, the staff is great and the management is understanding. Not much room for growth unless you are working in the office/corporate area
