Vortex Production Services

Vortex is a good place to work if you value family and being home every night. But they are having trouble keeping workers busy with the durastic drop in natural gas prices and i personally want to get out incase things get worse. Also there doesnt seem to be much promise of seeking advancement to management or less labouress positions when that point comes in ones career.

the company does not follow through with what the promise. The training I received is not the process in place and no SOP’s are available. Management is unsure what they wanted and plans changed weekly. They create problems and are unable to solve simple task. They like to hire their friends.  Insanity is their vision.

Its an alright place to work if you dont mind being belittled and extreme invasion of your personal life. The pay was alright but not great. No real perks to working here just making the managers that are invested in the company richer.

The time I spent at vortex wouldn't be classified as a cake walk, the work can be hard, no question. But at the end of the day, If you work hard, you get to see your accomplishments in 3-D before you.

I enjoyed my time working at Vortex, it offered many different training opportunities and a safe place to work in. The employees are all friendly and its not a very stressful job.

Went in and built buildings  for the oil filed in shop and on site.  During busy times lots of opportunities for over time. Worked with a lot of good guys and company was family orientated.

workplace is high intensity but good amount of breaks, fun environment, learned a lot about the industry, flexible with hours, learned a lot about different materials and their benefits.

everything is wrong with this company, do not work here. bad pay bad management, good coworkers. but that's about it. there is no good to come from this company

A terrific place to work all staff are positive and helpful in all matters. Management are thoughtful and work hard to keep on top of all situations .
 Overall a pleasant experience.

Strong emphasis on safety - Work on a broad array of pumps, valves, engines, other misc. pieces of equipment. Excellent facility support. Well versed supervisory staff.
