Vytrell Engineering

The majourity of my work day is spent in the field, advising and coaching trades people as well as supervision. Daily audits and workplace inspections are other key elements i use to ensure a clean and safe workplace. 

Through working with every trade within the building trades, i have learned a lot about each individual one. I have learned the most common hazards and issues we face on a daily basis with each trade, how to approach each situation in its own unique way, and how to manage situations differently, but effectively. 

In order to create an effective safety culture in any workplace, you need to have management on board with the goal we are trying to achieve. At the same time, we have to respect and understand managements stand point when it comes to each situation, and then find a way to effectively share and help them understand our take on that same situation, if in fact we think they are missing some key safety factors. 

I love meeting new safety professionals from all industries. I find it of great benefit to share ideas, and in a lot of cases it opens your mind up to a perspective you may not have seen before. I always find a unique way to get along and work with any co-worker, but at the same time, still have my opinion heard. 

I think one of the hardest parts of my job is trying not to see an incident as a personal falure. Sometimes we have to except the fact that an individual choose to make a behavioural decision, and going forward, coach that person into changing their mind set about safety. 

I think one of the most enjoyable parts of my job is when people walk up to me and tell me that a piece of advise i gave them, or a topic i discussed in a safety meeting, ended up saving them from injury or even worse. The gratitude given by some, makes it worth while to help all.

It was a good environment with a equal balance of work and enjoyment. i looked forward to going to work every morning. i learned lots but still have a lot of learning to do in my career

Learned a great deal about the construction and construction coordination/management. Worked on site and was able to experience a broad range of tasks.

They were good to work for they had good hours and the pay was good. Lots of over time. Good safety for the work environment. They helped you out if you had any questions or concerns.

very good place to work. it was mostly field work suited to my background and experience of construction work in the electrical field. work involved as stated in resume.

I truly enjoyed my time with Vytrell. I was given a company truck and sent out on my own to complete a different job at a different location everyday. I wish the company well in all their future endeavors.

organized duties for 10 labourers 0n daily basis. daily toolbox talks. concrete pouring up keep of building 221.general clean up of all work areas.all saftey rules are followed daily.

My first job as a scaffolder. Can't say enough about the management. They allow me to take time to fit in. They put me with a crew to help me learn the ropes.

Great Company to work for.  10 hr days but went by quick because work was challenging! Pay was very good also! I would return to this Company.

Loved my job there, However its like every comstruction job there comes a point when the project is ending and thats when the lay offs come down, Sadly I was one of them
