I was a shipper/receiver there for the past two years, and I can honestly say that I thoroughly enjoyed my time working there. Everyone from the warehouse to everyone upfront, including management, was genuinely nice and very easy to get along with. Overall I thought the warehouse was run very well, and it was very organized and well kept. Some days are extremely busy in the warehouse, which can add to the overall stress level. Management was very easy to talk with, which added to the family-like work environment. Every 2nd Friday of the month, they provided a free lunch to the employees. I felt like I was valued and appreciated as an employee during my tenure there. I had to quit because I'm going back to school, but I would definitely work there again given the opportunity.

Started with very little training, the person I was replacing was training for her new role at the same time so wasn't able to give me the time I deserved. They implemented a new system shortly after I started so I was expected to learn two new systems at the same time. No one seemed to know how the new system worked and, in usual management fashion, they rolled it out without the proper testing and it couldn't even accommodate what we needed. When going to my immediate supervisor for answers she was always either too busy or didn't know. No one lunched together, absolutely no feeling of belonging the entire 4 months that I was there. Family run where the only people that matter are family and friends. Stay far, far away from this place!

Terrible work and garbage management, even with the worlds best employees, the management would still fail at everything. They cannot tell the difference from a pile of burger wrappers from a diamond. All they can tell you is what is written on their clipboard, any actually decision making is just randomly decided on. There is no educated experience with them and they let all the good employees leave or fail to hire any qualified people that could actually help out the company. There is a reason they are always actively hiring, even in with the economy the way it is. This place is pathetic and it would be in your best interest to avoid it entirely.

For those that dedicate the time, energy and focus, you will be rewarded with an excellent career here. There are some blatant false statements in some disgruntled ex-employees but I can tell you after many successful years with this company I feel respected and valued. I have had complaints and disagreements over my many years here, but I feel they were heard and addressed reasonably. I would encourage anyone to work for this company if you wish to put in the effort and grow. There are many opportunities here for those that want to work! 

If you like working for egotistical group of people with only there own personal gain being  the only thing important to them. This place is for you. From service to the warehouse the supervisors and management are obviously poorly trained and riding it out doing as little as possible. Maybe if you are into the high-school experience were if you don't agree with there every idea you are nothing but a grunt until you leave. They need a massive change in middle management what a joke. Little fish trying to perform way out of their intelligence level.

The management here is terrible and refuses to take any accountability for their mistakes. There's a severe lack of communication and organization across the board, making it extremely difficult to get anything done efficiently. Instead of addressing issues, management tends to deflect blame onto employees, which creates a toxic work environment. I was treated poorly during my time there, and it’s clear they have no respect for their staff. Save yourself the stress and look elsewhere for a job where you’ll actually be valued and supported.

In my 18-month tenure at this family business, I saw an array of talented and resourceful people hired and subsequently fired for not fitting in with the company's "core values." I enjoyed my job, performed my duties well, never missed a day of work, always arrived punctually, was consistently pleasant and professional, and helped create and foster a more positive and productive work environment. For my commitment to my job, I was rewarded with termination for no reason.

If you want to work for a company that controls everything and treats you and your co-workers like garbage than WD is the place for you. There needs to be minus stars for these people and their management.  Pay is ok but it isn’t really salary, will take money out of your banked time or your vacation time if you have a day off that isn’t your choice or fault. Their “lack of work” is your fault. So not real salary. If you want to keep your sanity run away. Also when they tell you only half your time will be on the road! Laugh!

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
We rely heavily on technology due to our expansive service area. So being willing to learn new applications is important. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The work environment is great. We connect regularly, but don't get overwhelmed with pointless meetings. Everyone here is passionate about the business we're in.

They will sell you on only working mon-fri, and that there are saturday shifts, it's a small environment etc....What they do not tell you is that they bank time and do not pay overtime, you will not get paid for being demanded to come in and work an extra shift or stay late.

The Manager yells constantly and only keeps employees for three months.

Be careful, they will hire you on the spot, you will constantly feel that you are inadequate, then fired, with no pay.
