It has a "homy" feel as soon as you enter facility, with extremely pleasant residents and staff. Working in the Complex Care part of the facility, challenges vary everyday. With the increasing acuity of residents, the facility feels like an extension of a hospital. But unlike hospitals, working in this environment had helped me tremendously in developing a more individualized care to each resident, and a special rapport that you can never achieve in a hospital setting. There are challenges each day I work, but the fulfillment of being able to deliver the best care that I can give is invaluable. I love being a nurse!

Jobs are easy buy physical. Regimented. I give a huge thumbs up to the employees.  They are all good people who try very hard.  There are a couple of toxic employees who make it difficult for the others.
New management of 3 years. Very toxic.  High politics. Play favourites, only listen to favourites, take sides, manipulate, use gossip for their own agendas.  Remove unliked employees by building a case based on gossip & inconsequentials. They desire non thinking compliant robots.  

Its the best care home facility I  have been. The management and all staff are all friendly, cheerful, and supportive. Smiles are abundant. Yhey appreciate your efforts, and they help you if you need help. The residents are all loving, friendly, and are very respective of you as a care aide that's helping them, thats a big plus in staying here and keeping your job. I would recommend this facility for a friend. Its just the best.

I currenty have a part time position,two mornings ,two evenings. My duty is :-AM/PM Care,Assisting residents with their meals,Assisting residents with their personal hygene,Reporting in a competentand professional manner to the NURSE on duty,Complete ADL sheet.

management staff are awesome.  They interact with staff residents and families. It’s not a perfect home but none are but it is as good as any other and much better than most. I’ve been here for almost a year and have no complaints and only good things to say.  Do your job have fun and you will like it here for sure

Organize, straight,  management staff/s are always there to listen and support you. Safe and very relaxing work place. There's no perfect company or work place in this world, as long as you know how to comnect with people then everything will be positive.

My experience working at Westminster House is great. It is helping me gain practical workplace experience in my field and my co-workers and coordinators/managers are helping me be successful!

I am currently a recreation aide at Westminster House. I assist residents with activities such as bowling, exercise, reminisce. I love my job. I have cashier training. I have worked in the retail industry for over six years now.

I find this work environment to be refreshingly encouraging and fun overall with good support from management and co-workers; conducive to successfully implementing therapeutic recreation programs for Residents.

Great home for seniors.  Staff are happy, residents are well taken care of.  Ideal location away from busy streets.  A hidden gem.  Families are very happy to have chosen Westminster House for their loved ones.
