Working at the football club was good work always busy during the daytime. I learned to work accordingly to supervision, but supervisor is not really experienced enough to work with. she will ask about your family history and then use it against you. she likes to steal from other business area's and talk about the management personal issues, she lacks of communication and talks about you behind your back. so as soon as them management get rid of her. it will be very easy and work will be more productive. 
hardest part is the management lets her decides as to what she says, the enjoyable part is when she is not working that day.

The workplace was great, if you talked to the right people most of them were nice. Volunteers were sometimes not distributed properly or last minute someone could not work and you would be shorthanded. 
The most enjoyable part of the job is keeping people safe from the cars and seeing the game on breaks. The hardest part is when you have to do more work some games because there are not enough people. The workplace culture is fun and they have a party every year. 
A Typical day at work is working from 4:30 pm or 5:30 pm until about 11:30 pm-Midnight sometimes even 1 am.

Flexible hours and experienced supervisors.


What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Occasional unruly fans. Long hours of standing.


What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
It is very positive with a focus on "team".

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
I work a very routine job. All depends on my posting.

Working for the WFC is an event based job.  Whether it be a Blue Bomber football game, Valour soccer, concert or any event scheduled at IGF Stadium it takes hundreds of persons to make the experience a positive one for everyone involved.

Working as a parking lot attendant had it ups and downs. For example we weren’t quite sure what parking lot we were meant to work at but we figured it out. We had to stand a lot and that was tiring but in the end it all paid off. 

This is a fast paced and competitive environment. A large team with no HR.  Team culture is lacking.  The workload is high and the expectations are higher.  There are some perks. Fun to be involved with a pro sports team. Great staff discount. The organization values its fans and treats them very well. Stay a fan.

As long as you can handle working very long hours you will do well. The staff and players are very friendly. The part is not great, but there are many benefits to working there!

Coworkers are amazing
Management is amazing. Although, on game days the hours are very long(15+ hours) it goes by very fast and the overtime makes up for it! Very fun place to work.

Great place with great staff with great team players. Work is shared and customers are awesome great food great policies very inclusive  of all these people are you going today for the weekend going to bed up for the weekend or something to get some 

I enjoyed working the home games at Investor's Field working Traffic Services for The Winnipeg Football Club during the 2018 regular season. Good employer. Will likely return for the 2019 season.
