Wallenstein Feed & Supply Ltd.

I worked for Wallenstein Feed and Supply through a sub-contract, once a week me our my business partner would grease their truck fleet's PTO shafts. Through this job I learned how to be independent and efficient on the work site, even through adverse conditions such as heavy snow or incredibly hot weather. The independence and the flexible hours were very enjoyable, and made up for the physical labour and the harsh weather conditions in the winter.

I don’t have much to say about this place but I regret taking the job they treated me very poorly and unexpected so much from me
Force you to work long hours while treating you poorly and as the days went on it got worse and worse I eventually quit this place is toxic the only thing that is there is the money that’s it and I’m not the only one that felt this way all other people hired around the same time as me felt exactly the same

As a driver the days can be between 10-14 hours, which is average for trucking. We get paid time and a half after 8 hours per shift, plus the entire day on Saturday. Management is fair and the other drivers are very helpful. It's nice to drive to farms instead of in cities. Customers are generally easy to get along with. Outside work is great when the weather isn't poor. It isn't really your typical driving job, with lots of working with the truck loading and unloading feed.

Great people for the most part, but Managers  in the office micro-manage all projects especially in IT.  The manger is really an office manager not an IT manager, no creativity or forethought.  Once your are in a job position you are stuck in that role no room for advancement. Manager has no idea of what you do.

Excellent office environment with a great collaborative culture. Everyone comes to work to try their best; mistakes/failures are seen as growth opportunities; life outside of work (family, etc.) is extremely important to management. More free coffee and office food than you'd ever need. A gym to work out and relieve stress. RRSP plan. Great benefits. Overall a top notch company.

Love the workplace environment, people you work with are kind, always willing to help you, and knowledgeable. Management work hard and try to accommodate you if you need time off, summer holidays can be tough but they try to get everyone the time off they need. Great people, great atmosphere and just an all around great spot to work

I think it is a good place to work. People are friendly and helpful. The trucks are in pretty good condition. The job can be a bit dirty but that is to be expected when working on farms. There is alot to remember but gets easier with practice. Flexible schedule is awesome!

like working there good money early starts late finishes.they really take care of there people. good benefits. good RRSP program open door policy you are a name and a person not a number.

It’s a very fast paced work environment which I thrive in, the customers are usually very friendly, and my colleagues are incredibly helpful and kind. This is the happiest I’ve been at a job in a long time. 

This was a fantastic place to work, the pay and benefits were second to none and the equipment was very well maintained and constantly being renewed. 
 I was however on the nought shift and it didn’t agree with me.
