Company seems doesn't care about real purpose or effectiveness of each action. We do what have to do, all the time, and doesn't matter if you are loosing time or money, if you have to go ahead and go back with decisions, implementations or any other needs. It seems there are no strategical plan or targets well stablish. Decisions is always downstream.
The projects of processes automations is only aimed to reduce the need of people and offen are not well planned.
Everything we do in the company is in a stress full way, from things like changing a word in a form for project approval, to include components in the product during launch. Not rare, people leave on temporary heatly-license due bad stress management. Turn-over is high.
Information systems are old and not centralized.
Most of the people works in its own cube, meaning, no much team work spirit.
Data, information and procedures are not standard and not well organized. If you ask same question to anyone, each one will give a different answer. And, not rare, if data exist in a record, they are not updated.

Waterville TG, is hands down the worst place to work. They hire many employees with NO intention of keeping you.
The orientation period is 720 hours, and you are not a member of the union until you finish the 720 hours (yet you still pay union dues during probation). Which makes it easy for them to terminate you without cause. Management is terrible and the orientation and training process is TERRIBLE. Orientation went from 1 week, now down to 4 hours in class and then they sent you to your process to get trained by low-life criminals that some how managed to get a job there. Also a "condition of employment" is that you must be able to work any shift ( morning, afternoon, nights). Which you WILL be put on nights to start, and it is almost impossible to get on another shift.
You are expected to meet a certain production percentage, which is not reasonable for the $11.50/hr they pay you. With all the deductions you only take home $350 a week for 40 hours. Working at Waterville is like working a sweatshop!! You are treated with no respect and will be terminated for no reason before you reach the end of your probation period!!

Waterville Tg is a great company to work for. It has great salaries and benefits. It is a unionized environment, therefore in my experience there is two different worlds. 

As a staff member:

Work life balance is very hard, because the shop runs 24/7, if you disconnect for 16 hours you become lost in all the new events. 
Taking a vacation for more then one week at a time is frowned upon and also very hard to do if you do not have more then 10 years seniority. 
The most enjoyable part of the job and worst part is the people. But I believe that is normal. 

The hardest part of the job is trying to obtain your long term objectives. The objectives change each day and sometime they are a 180 degree change.

Waterville is an absolute joke! Management are all throwing each other under the bus to try and keep their jobs, and they write the workers up for trivial stuff, like missing your quota even tho the machines are broke down half the time. They frown on talking amongst yourselves, and some supervisors try and put the workers against each other! They make you wear arm bands to single you out so everyone knows your new to a machine, and than they post on big TVs how many parts each person made! They demean you every chance they get. They think they are God. They walk all over the employees, every freaking day, unless you are one of the suck ups!

this ffcking place first off the union that you have to join qont protect you at all 125$ due upfront plus the 75$ for yer first month. Then 75$ everyone after that. Your also not protected for 6 months when you start. It comes out to exactly 720hrs worked. Don't work here they will use you and walk you out at 680hrs worked just so they don't have to pay you your full benefits.   I was employee 2500 ish idk remember the exact number but I was in the 2500's I also trained my replace ment and his employee number was in the 2800's this place went through 300ish people in 680hrs that I worked there wow

It's definitely a numbers game and they don't care if their attitude towards the employees causes stress.

It's an extremely repetitive job as it's a factory and it's shift work.

Work here is very easy, although very repetitive, benefits are good, not many places offer them, pay is higher then 11.50, plus u can earn higher wages if your willing to advance, everyone on here complaining only cuz they were let go for never showing up or not doing their work, it's not the best job but it's good for what's around here. The company is expanding that's why they are hiring alot

Your experience can vary based on your shift, each shift has a different atmosphere. I am one who goes to work and keeps their head down, it was pretty decent. Love many supervisors there. Not everyone has that experience. I personally had zero issues with my time off requests. I worked there 2 separate times. I left as they were adding air/fans in there to keep it cooler in the summer, so I am assuming heat is less of an issue.

This company doesn't care about their workers. They want you to do more work then what your getting paid for. Then firer you. This company turns over more employees then any company I have ever seen. No one likes working here. Don't waste your time they only 11.50 and make you pay for your own benefits and life insurance.  So at the end of the week your left with less then 350 a week
