BIGGEST CON: Due to the position being virtual, every second is monitored. The computer systems are always crashing so IT tickets have to be submitted everytime. It is very time consuming. Another ticket must be entered to the Workforce Mgmt. if one forgets to enter both you are then losing attendance points & this is the #1 reason for termination at WF. Most staff end up using a lot if unpaid Emergency leave time to cover for these IT issues. The Metrics are not the easiest to obtain - there are external factors working against a frontline staff agent. If there are delayed shipping problems it ends up with unresolved callers & they end up calling back within 14 days. If this happens it affects one of the metrics - u don’t want a caller calling back in 14 days after speaking with u or u get hit bad & will not get binusx$. They make the metrics hard to attain so that even the highest skilled agent is not making bonus! If u are able to meet all metrics, then u will get a pretty nice bonus every quarter. The Managers are very different- some are supportive and some are not. The clients are mostly very friendly & loyal. 

A typical day wayfair would consist of me making a coffee for my boss and totalling up our sales goal of the day and interact and offer any customer who came in the store coffee and a snack and answer any questions or wants they may need. I learned to seriously have some patience and that the customer is always right. In case of management my boss was very friendly and completely understanding we never had any conflicts or situations. my co-workers were friendly and would really assist me and give me some tips on making a sale. The hardest part of the job was convincing customers of right colour choice and what brand would be most preferred. the most enjoyable part was my interaction with customers in what they would have in their house.

collaboration with peers across the network is one of the best I have seen. Speed of execution is a great trait that the company thrives on.

None at the moment. As a part of a global team there is always lots of learn and co develop

collaborative, active listening, problem solving, and working at a great pace

organized, planned, active involvement to develop solutions for complex business problems

Wayfair is trash. Your just a number not a person. They only care about their metrics. If you have no goals in life, don’t want better for yourself work there. Management is a joke. You are written up for everything,especially if your metrics aren’t good. Even if you have a nice customer on the line and you have a conversation, that’s a no-no. It effects your time in taking other calls. Seriously don’t apply here. So stressful. Also don’t buy anything either. It will arrive broken or lost. And that’s no joke

This was one of the worst job I have ever worked at cause management will just end up letting people go saying oh we need flexible team moving forward and I like it how supervisor like I told you this was gonna happen like don’t act like you told me anything when you didn’t that place was beyond terrible getting a lot of VTO barely was getting any hours at all during covid it was bad just don’t work at wayfair in Mississauga location 

Work is physically demanding over 130 lbs all by yourself. The pay rate is $15.75 no planning management, do not practice what they preach. Everything is online yet they want you to manually write out a production time sheet what you did all day. Big time favouritism, I wont reccomend no one to work here that's why good workers leave all the time.

Management (Gary) is a joke, favouritism is all time high at that place. Numerous times was promised to be trained on forklift (even tho I already had reach license) and never was put on it. Basically if your lucky you’ll at least work on forklifts, the rest of people will be slugging weight jn middle mile or standing bored half to death doing returns. Bad experience, bad managers bad environment 

I worked for about 3 mths, I gotten injured playing with my son during the holidays and missed a day. I was unable to return until I had a Dr. fill out paper work Wayfair gave me and when I returned I was let go. I was told it was because I was just a seasonal worker and that it wasn't busy but yet they hired new workers so clearly them letting me go had nothing to do with the work being slow. 

Favouritism at its best, lots of long walking, large heavy boxes, heavy work load. If you don’t go well with supervisor you will not survive.  Production is being watched by how much boxes you scan daily 

They just kick you out for no reason even your goals sets are higher then most of them. No points still kick you out. Most of them are in team they just promote their own community people.  Their is only 1 communities working, reset got kicked out. Their is no work diversity.
