Starting pay isn't bad considering they'll literally hire anyone. Never any communication between management and supervisors. non-existent safety culture. Upper management is a bunch of clueless idiots unable to communicate effectively. Advancement to operator positions was easy and the actual work is extremely easy if you dont mind doing a bit of physical activity. Wayfinder long term planning is an absolute joke, supervisors/operators were blamed for poor stockpile planning despite this being managements responsibility. Incredibly high worker turnover. Both wet and dry plants were designed by an engineer who should never have been given a ring, screen changes took 12 hours in 40c+ temps with little room to move.

Compressed work week. No Overtime. Silica sand dust everywhere, must wear a mask for the 12 hr shift. Most positions get no coffee or lunch breaks. 
Some great people work here. A lot have quit and moved on, about 100% turnover in staff. What does that say ?
Big talk about safety, just noise tho!
No upgrades to equipment , skidsteer, telehandler , loaders are completely worn out, running 6 years 24/7.   
  Several people fired on the spot with no explanation. 
  Many here are going to the food bank. Seems like the new culture ! 


Ive worked alot of different jobs but ive never seen anything like this place. 
Worst possible managment you could come up with. Could be a cool job, interesting equipment and ive learned a few things. But the total lack of leadership and toxic environment have made it unbearable. 
Low pay, no raises, no training, no advancement. Only thing youll get for your trouble is sylicosis.

Only work here as an absolute last resort, but you would be better off not working here. 

I've seen them go through a lot of people that didn't know how to take initiative. They are patient and anybody has the opportunity to improve processes. If you just like taking orders and are in a management position you will be lost. It's been a long process seeing the company go from construction to operating and has had many challenges along the way. 

It’s decent enough pay and good shift for the area but overall terrible place to work.  They only want “yes men”!  They don’t want anybody questioning anything or any one.  No integrity, no loyalty, no safety and no intelligence in management .  This operation would have great potential if competent people were behind the wheel.

It is the upper management that are idiots.

Crew and Shift lead were awesome. But safety protocols are all outdated. Upper management barely leave the office and insist on constant production. Maintenance is nearly non existent so it'd be an awesome role for a jack of all trades. But overall it's not hard work and the day to day is pretty laid back.

Management and office staff are clueless on communication. Wages are horrible . huge turn over . 
Absolutely terrible place to work . pay was late . no meetings , tailgates or safety culture . 
These people will hurt or kill someone in the future . 
Dont be a statistic. Stay away from wayfinder

Don’t waste your time ! 13 hr days , paid for 12 , no overtime. No breaks . They don’t recognize OH&S regulations . No safety culture. Right to refuse unsafe work gets you fired . Management incompetent. Supervisors on power trip . Equipment manager has dementia. Spilled 1000’s of litres of polluted water .

Employees are treated like thrash, completely toxic culture throughout the whole management and corporate level, expected everything and gave nothing, had 4 managers to 3 workers on shift and were still laying off workers while keeping management.
