 This is a great place to get started and get a lot of amazing experiences. It's a hard place to leave once you start working there but unfortunately there's no way to get advance in the company at this time. The Management even down to the highest level cares about their employees a lot and only wants to see them succeed. The CEO cares so much and makes Wayside House a unique place to work. The managment is the best I've ever had, although a lot falls on one person's head causing some things to fall through the cracks sometimes. 

The offices are cramped but you'll love the people you're surrounded with. The work that you're doing has it highs and lows. You learn a lot about yourself working in a place like this and it allows you to really grow as a Case Manager. The lack of upward advancement within the company is the one of the only cons because if they did they would have lifers. 
Shift work is the only other con. Rotating weeks of afternoon and day shifts with the occasional night shift thrown in is the average 2 week experience which is typical for places like this. 

Wayside House provides an excellent opportunity to help men with addiction. Wayside House utilizes multiple modalities in a client-centred approach allowing their clients the best opportunity for recovery

Great work environment, Supportive staff, Updated cirriculum, Learned how to deal with disruptive residents, Hardest part of the job saying good bye to residents. Management is extremely supportive of both staff and clients. Most enjoyable part of my job is to see former residents thriving after leaving Wayside

Incredible place. Changes lives. From the director, management and staff everyone is incredible and truly cares about the men they serve. Phenomenal place to work.
