The shift runners are always threatening disaplinaries.You are definitely overworked and underpaid.there is no life balance.you cannot get a break.but management.always knock you an hours break off.whether you have had it or not.therefore getting an extra hour out of you.there is no chance of progression unless your face fits.customers are excellent.there is no such thing as team work.its Minimum wage even for night staff.

Friendly place to work, there’s a really good progression structure. Really inclusive. Clear company goals. Management has a progressive attitude and rewards individual endeavours. Encourages charity and community work. If you have good standards and the right attitude you’ll go far in this company. 

i enjoy working at welcome break, my colleagues are lovely and kind, they have shown me the way in learning to make coffee while providing good customer service and quality products to our customers. I am on alright pay with a work schedule that balances in with my out of work life.

The most enjoyable part is working has a team and being able to communicate with other people apart of that team. The hardest part of the job is dealing with some customers who get angry or upset, however I do have good mangers who I can go to for support on situations that I’m not comfortable with.

Day 2 so far going well.  
Thorough training with staff and online.  
Learning new skills as well as using previous experience and knowledge from work history. 
Welcoming workplace. 


The company are a good one to work for. We do have a good ubm and helps and supports us. Just the staff are so lazy and rather sit about on their phones or argue with us service leaders 

Friendly and busy environment to work in.  Great management and staff.  Good team and well managed.  Very good training both on the job and online.  Good staff benefits.  Uniform provided.  Very busy most days. 

Job description was entirely inaccurate. No support when short of staff. worked 30 days straight with no day off and was asked to not clock in due to it contravening employment laws. Never got time of in lieu as promised. avoid.

Low pay, horrible management, stressful work environment!
It's adequate for a part time job alongside being a student etc where you're only there for a few hours a week but would definitely not recommend as a career!
