My job was always a fun thing to do, the Tribune provided me with a bundle buggy to carry the papers and they dropped off the papers and flyers in separate baggies the night before i had to deliver. The following day i would insert each flyer within the newspaper and add it to the bundle buggy and then i would deliver to each address i was required to. I worked by myself, no co workers. I learned to be very independent and rely on no one but myself to get the job done and this being my first job has really given me a taste of what it will be like to be a working adult. I had to have the papers delivered by a certain time so i would walk to the area i delivered in pulling my bundle buggy to ge where i needed to be, this taught my punctuality.

Honestly nothing was good about this job

Again this job was a waste of my time

My home is where I did my work

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
The papers would be thrown all over my property. No respect what so ever for the people dropping them off. I would then sort them. Stuff flyers into the papers. Bag them and then pay a friend to drive me around to deliver them.

A typical day would be get up and deliver the papers on time
there were problems with the costumers
i learned to have set goals
i enjoyed getting the papers on time and have good responses from some people
and the hardest part was getting hassled by people to te a secound paper.

weather pending but fun, how nice the people are and fun to talk to, l have a very nice co-worker loves to help out alot, delievering in bad weather makes it hard to carry the paper bag, beening able to talk to my customers and becomeing friends that understand eachother.

I woke up early some mornings to deliver paper or sometimes after school. I worked in any type of weather. I also would go around on Thursday or Friday for collections for the money

I think for a Newspaper job it is quite descent, although at times it may be frustrating. For younger children I would not recommend it because of the early mornings so it may be difficult to do before school.

Easy and acceptable for a young child who wants a first job. The bundling of papers is easy but time consuming. Hard to complete paper route without a large wagon or a car.

good starting job for anyone that needs money while at a young age. The management is a bit of a mess, and sometimes the place seems disorganized, but overall its not bad

I delivered papers every day except Sundays. On Thursdays I delivered flyers with the papers to each house in my route. It was a great first job.
