What is the best part of working at the company?
Caring employers, great evergy in every school I supplied at. I had a very good experience working there and definitely wish a daytime position still worker for me so I could still be there! 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Sometimes there was a bit of technical issues with the computers but they were always resolved quickly 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Super kind, everyone is really caring and lovely to be around 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
I supplied so my days always looked different

Pros:
compassionate Board of directors
excellent team of co workers
knowledgable program coordinator
love working in the school setting
excellent teaching partners

Cons:
would like paid planning time
not paid for anything outside of regular school hours
hourly, not paid during summers and breaks
contribute to report cards but no paid time or recognition to do so

What is the best part of working at the company?
Staff were great.  Learned a lot

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
No stress at all.  Staff were great teaching me 


What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Very friendly. Happy environment 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Great.  Enjoyed it a lot. Had mine own office

Everyone was friendly regardless of which location you went to work at. Help was always given and you could ask anyone for help. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Waiting to see if work would come in. Waking up at 6am to wait for a phone call or message to come through to see if there was any work available for the day.

As someone who had special education experience before this job, it was doable when I entered. However if you don’t have much experience, don’t expect great training or tons of support from higher up. It’s a very difficult job at times being thrown in with high needs kids and not being given much information on how to support them

Wellington Catholic District School Board emphasizes inclusivity, whereby special need students are integrated into the class setting.  This is a win-win situation for all students as kids learn to be more tolerant of each others' differences in the school population, fostering a positive school climate.

The Wellington Catholic District School Board is a wonderful place to work. They are a family and religion based community who understands. 

They accommodate according to your needs as well as provide an excellent working environment.

You never know who is watching you...poor teacher life...teachers against teacher...admin are horrible...no help with behavioural students...terrible...board superintendents know nothing of the day to day life

Interviewed by two principals. HR was very kind at board office. The board attempts to build a family-like feeling with employees and cares about them more than other larger boards. 

No room to grow. Toxic work culture. Unfriendly environment for young staff to learn and grow. Buildings uncomfortable to operate out of. Freedom to do your own scheduling and pace
