Before working at Wentworth I've had 5 summer's worth of farming/landscape experience with two different companies under my belt, and I can confidently say that Wentworth is hands down the best company I have worked for. This line of work started as a summer job temporarily until I graduated from college, and after a season of working in the field doing turf maintenance I was offered a position in the office where I was able to put my degree to good use, turning my summer job into a year round career. That's why Wentworth stands out among other landscape companies in my opinion, they don’t see their employees as one dimensional workers, they look at your credentials, encouraging personal development and provide workers with new opportunities to help them achieve their own personal career goals. On top of all of that, everyone is great to work with!

What is the best part of working at the company?
Great company to work for.  Lots of opportunities 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Bi weekly payroll timesheets making sure I had all the information 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Great!  People treated with respect.  

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Hire and recruit new employees.  Assist employees with benefits.  Answer phones

What is the best part of working at the company?
40+ hours a week. Where ever when ever 


What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Send you all over crew 2 crew never know where your heading. Or what your doing.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Gotta be apart of the 95 peci graduation class. To be in the club. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
7-5 work days. Yard pick up material job site then home.

Overall fantastic team to work with and for. Many years of landscaping experience and knowledge, and very willing to teach and train. Some communication hiccups, but that is common in a fast paced seasonal construction setting where you are trying to fit in as much work as you can before winter. They are aware of this and definitely do their best to mitigate these issues, which is greatly appreciated.

It’s not always sunshine and rainbows but I absolutely love what I do! It gives me a sense of purpose and belonging and Wentworth is such an amazing team to be part of! It feels good to work hard and complete a beautiful job, it’s so satisfying. So if you’re not afraid to get your hands dirty, work hard and have some laughs while doing it, then please apply to Wentworth!!! It’s awesome outside that’s why!! 🤩

Great company to work for not the best pay bigger opportunities out there just work hard and keep your head down and it’s a good job. But don’t expect to ever get to the top

Stuck up county folk and they pay terribly for the toll this type of work puts on your body. If you get stuck with the wrong crew leader your in for a long season
