The expectations at this home are literally impossible. They expect you to be in five places at once and they are watching staff on camera all day long. They consistently work their staff short. There is always a huge turnover in staff which means there is always a new person or two on shift. This makes it very difficult on senior staff. They have a staff member or two who are major bullies. They tell lies about other staff and everything. The typical day at work is a rat race trying to get everything done and keep everyone happy. What I have learned there is that you cannot trust anyone. The management are ok, a little inexperienced maybe but nice people. The hardest part of the job is listening to the negativity. The most enjoyable part of the job is of course the reason why everyone is there….the residents. It is rewarding to care for and build relationships with these seniors. 

The facility itself is beautiful, and the residents are wonderful to get to know. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end.

While management has good philosophies, they set high expectations without offering competitive pay, which leads to constant turnover. As a result, employees are overworked, underpaid, and often left feeling frustrated and burnt out.

Additionally, management closely monitors everything but seems to lack experience in effectively running the facility.

Overall, there are better workplaces out there with more supportive environments and fairer compensation.

What is the best part of working at the company?
The residents that live in the facility. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Lack of organization and communication between staff and the management team. Poor leadership. General manager does not know how to do the job. Stressful dealing with lies that are being told to residents and family. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Extremely dis functional and chaotic.   

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Non stop running around like your head is chopped off. No direction

These 3 girls because they are only in their 20s need to be more responsible and respectful to other workers and residents, if you don’t have interest then find something your interested in, It’s makes it harder on the other Ladies who do their part and don’t leave dirty towels in showers and clean up after yourself if you shower someone do the cleaning after your done or take a bag and put your towels in that don’t leave them for others and you need to communicate better with other staff and do it politely and positively 

There's always something to do to keep yourself busy during your shift and make time pass quicker. Such as taking care of residents and helping them with personal hygiene care or anything else they may need at that time, transporting residents to meals and back from meals, usually atleast one activity a day for the enjoyment of the residents, Laundry/Housekeeping work, etc.

What is the best part of working at the company?
The satisfaction knowing your taking care of people who need the care and appreciate what you do.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Being short staffed, and poor communication
