Western Fair

As a traffic screener, I stood at the side gate, watched pedestrians walking in and out so they got to the right place.  I also made sure people parked in the right spots. 
As a security guard I dealt with multiple crises of different kinds, whether it be with people, animals, or machines.  I helped people with special needs get around, dealt with onsite first aid and mental health issues, and traffic problems.

It is a place where the shifts can go by quickly and you have a chance to check out many events while working and with great coworkers and a amazing boss.

the only thing that was hard for me was when I came in for 6am I was alone in the parking lot with my float, thank god no one bothered me, I was was really nervous  there are some people that don't care what they do to you they just want the money.
My coworkers made it fun we would joke back and forth.

A typical day involved controlling traffic at Agriplex location during Western Fair.This involved horse and farm trailers.Learned a lot about horses and people in general!

Big company...many experiences. Landscape supervisor, painter, race track maintenance, mural painting,Garden design, fair supervisor, hiring and product invenory.

I enjoyed working at the Western Fair. During my employment for the time frame of the fair, we met interesting folks. The other employees were easy to get along with and showed me the ropes.

made orders at the raceway, customer service, and made sure the kitchen and the cafeteria was clean for customers. when the fair was on cleaned in the barns

They paid us well , but I didn't have the best experience working there.
