If you aren't a long time employee than you aren't likely to get many shifts, though you are more than likely to find someone giving away shifts, you just need to ask.
A typical day at work includes basic use of the cash register, cleanup, popcorn/slushy/coffee making and prep as well as possible pizza making or helping in the kitchen depending on what building you are in. If you cater as well you would also be doing typical catering duties with the rare occurrence of using a cash register as well.

The hardest part of the job is the rushes. If you can't handle hundreds of customers at once (typically in a team of two or four) than this isn't the job for you, besides that everything is easy going and most of the time the job is handled very well, even for people who think they can't handle large crowds.

well usually my day started off by working various different shifts I would open and sometimes closed, I prepared for the day as always and then took care of my customers needs on a daily bases, I was fast and friendly and professional, and I always smiled no matter what. as for what I learned that we r all human beings and that no matter what the challenges in life we r given that there always is a silver lining somewhere and that if we work together as a team we can conquer any task.as for my co-workers well like every place there r clicks but hey, that's why we all need too be team players and work as one unit together.i didn't find my job hard at all. well I enjoyed each and everyday as if it were my first day on the job, with fun and excitement , and was proud too work there.

the place is allright but has a terrible management to who seem all about favoring certain people that work there they tend to stick up for people who break all the rules don't do there job and sit in the staff room for 3 to 4hours a day going on there phones talking about things that do not pretain to the job what so ever take off the work site for 2hours a time there management isn't ever present when this is going on and when you report things to there management it seems they labal you the problem even tho you are doing your job busting your back for them oh an there wonderfull  security makes threats and doesn't do there rounds a whole lot

I recommend too anyone out there to please apply for a job here! If you like fun and a great place to work, this place has both! You are treated with respect and fairness, if you are willing to learn and would like to advance in the company, then this is a great job / career for you! Fun atmosphere, hard work, whether you like sports or concerts, or trade shows, there is something to do and always work year round! Enjoy and good luck!

Inadequate no of people to cover breaks on traffic patrol.  Some people felt because they had worked for several years they could do what and when they wanted.  Attitude of some some people working could have been a little more positive.

Long shifts, bad security and unsafe location 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
It’s very relaxed, not stressful and the management supports the employees

Clueless management - don't train properly, then undermine their staff's efforts; Obvious nepotism; Praise others for your good work; Treated like you are disposable. 
Tips are divided so the kitchen staff makes  next to nothing, despite working insanely long hours to keep up with servicing all the buildings PLUS monthly buffets. 

It is a good place to work for people with good work ethics.  Show up on time, try your best, always tell your manager about any difficulties you are having with any aspect of your work.

There is no training, just micromanagement .
There is no set up for success, just set up for failure.
There is no organization. 
Communication is minimal.

I was treated fairly the entire time I worked there. The staff was very welcoming my first few days at the Western Fair, and I sincerely appreciate the experience I had with them.
