This company has a lot of organizing to do, from the employees to the employers. This company takes advantage of their employees by overworking them and paying them not even close to the to what they, and does not pay for overtime. The people that you work around are amazing, but the employers do not make it very challenging for their workers to enjoy their job.By creating the environment more overwhelming and lack of respect.  If you are planning to advance to the next level, good luck. There employees that have worked for this company for 5-7+ years and they have only received one raise or promotion. 

Their is a great level of favoritism that runs in Western Logistics. Many of the employees are either relatives, or family friends, this causes their to be a strong bias through the perception of their workers, and who receives higher level than than their co-workers. Their is lack professionalism in this company with the communication and treatment of workers. This is cycle of people who resigned and get replaced almost every other month or year a new person has arrived, realized how the company runs, then in the next few months hands in their resignation letter.

Overall, the company suffers from organization and dehumanizes humans.

Hard work isn't appreciated or respected by upper management, no incentives and no annual raises,the terminal manager is not professional at all with how he speaks to his staff and has limited informationregardingemployees safety and day to day efforts made to have dailywork completed, office staff is really polite and do a really good just regardless of any incentives based on overall performance ,if starting pay and more consideration was shown to the employees I am sure the turn over rate wouldn't have been as high as I've seen throughout time working there.

Western Logistics is  an excellent logistics company to work for. The Manager  is an excellent example of work ethic & integrity, which is hard to find in companies today. I enjoyed my position & the challenges that I had on a daily bases. I would love to find another position with in a company like this one. I would defiantly return to Western Logistics when the slow season is over, if they have a position open up for me. I wish them the best of luck during this transitional time.

During my time in the company, senior management is very supportive and care about employee growth. The work itself is always productive and there is always adhoc stuff that challenging my skill which help improve my technical knowledge. From time to time, the company also have pot luck and free lunch for entire office.

I have work at 2 branches of Western and I really enjoyed my time both. The staff are great and it is pretty laid back. The company likes to promote from within so the Managers seem to have a great understanding of what the front line workers are going through.
 The pay could be better, but that is true of most places these days.

Past faced workplace environment, some people are friendly. Working long hours and not getting paid that much. They give you a lot of works without giving you an increase.

Hard work but fair. We unloaded trailers, sea-cans.loaded our drivers in the morning and through the day.For there deliveries in town and out town loads. we did damage reports,forklift inspections and cleaning duties.

Enjoyed working for The Edmonton office. Due to contract loss was let go but would go back if asked without a second thought. Enjoyed the constant variety day to day.

This was the first job i ever had in warehousing and if it wasnt for them giving me a chance i would not have gotten to where i am at today, they trained me to operate a counter balance forklift and a clamptruck.

lift hundreds of pounds of furniture with little to no help. management is always angry and yelling at you. very depressing work environment, management has favorites and will listen to them over you for concerns
